Deer Creek Valley RV Park

Accessible year-round via concrete roads, Deer Creek Valley RV Park accommodates RVs up to 95 feet with full hookups on level concrete pads. The gated facility charges $40-$45 per night and accepts reservations, making it a reliable stop for travelers on Interstate 70. Most sites are pull-through configurations with grass areas and picnic tables between each pad.

Campers consistently note the cleanliness of facilities, including bathrooms and showers that double as storm shelters. The property features a swimming pool, playground, and large fenced dog run area. "Clean level concrete pads with hook ups that worked," reports jim G., highlighting the functional infrastructure many travelers appreciate after less-maintained stops.

The campground sits next to a creek with both forested and open terrain areas. Sites provide ample space between neighbors, though shade varies by location. Air conditioning becomes essential during summer months. The location offers quick access to sites near Topeka including the NOTO Arts District, state capitol, and Topeka Zoo. Alternative nearby options include Lake Shawnee County Campground and Topeka / Capital City KOA.

Good Sam members receive a discount on the posted rates.

Amazing RV Park

This is an amazing park. The spot was 55 with a 5.50 Good Sam discount. It is gated, several spots mostly pull through. The roads and parking spots are all concrete with grass and picnic tables. Laundry, bathrooms, showers. Swimming pool and kids play yard. Large fenced pet area. This is just off interstate 70. The reservation desk was very friendly. Would highly recommend.

Clean, cared for, comfortable

We just came off 2-3 weeks of hot dirty, dusty, un-level, gravelly, marginally maintained campgrounds and this campground was sheer heaven! Clean level concrete pads with hook ups that worked! A pool that was warm enough to get all the way into (but still truly refreshing!) and a well organized check in with a great list of local trades people included. Our engine light came on that day, so it we really appreciated having that resource! The showers double as a storm shelter so they are huge and cavernous, but very clean and nice. Nicest campground on our trip, only thing missing is shade but the ac was fine.

Great little place!

We stayed 1 night here on our way from Denver to Gatlinburg. We had hoped to get in around dinner with time to enjoy the pool, but we left way later than planned. The hosts were so nice and organized…texting us late check in info. The sites were all nice and wide, level, and pull through...such an easy set up! Super clean and nice people all around. Kids loved playing on the playground in the morning while we packed up. Plenty of grass and a little dog run area too for our pup. We’d definitely stay here again!

Easy

Just stayed for the night and it was an easy set up. Wide open lots that were level and the hookups were all lit up so easy to see at night. Huge grassy enclosed dog run which is priceless traveling across country with two dogs. The price was very decent and it served us well for an easy nightly stop.

An amazing RV park

Just a wonderful RV park. Very pretty and clean property. Located next to a creek and ample space around your site. Clean bathrooms and showers. Fun little pool and awesome play area for kids. They have the property gate guarded at night which is another nice feature. If you have the opportunity to stay here, don't hesitate, it's worth it!
