Bobcat Run — Harry S Truman State Park

My family and I have been going at least twice a year to Harry S Truman State Park for over 20 years. It is a wonderful state park. Every time I am there I feel like I am home. There are many sites to choose from including basic and electric options. The park it self has multiple hiking trails, a swimming beach, boat launch, amphitheater, playground, and a ranger station. It is a great place to camp. Taking a day trip to the damn is always a fun idea as well. I won a Sleep Under the Stars Pack from Lightspeed Outdoors so my husband and I took it with us. I love how compact-able the inflatable pillows are. They were very quick, comfortable and easy to adjust in firmness. I loved how they came with a removable pillowcase you can wash. The air mattress was the most supportive air mattress I have ever slept on. It felt more like a real mattress then one full of air. The pack also came with a D batteries operated air pump. The pump worked just fine and came with varying nozzles the I was able to use on our lake toys as well. The Boston valve on the air mattress (lets air in but not out) saves much time and struggle when trying to inflate. No need to try and be some sort of ninja to close the stopper before all the air comes back out.
