"Walked the loop (about 0.6 miles) several times a day. Our site was about 80 yards from the toilet. Lots of trails through the middle of the loop as a shortcut to the toilet."
TravelerIt’s an ok place. When we arrived it was late and someone had parked in our reserved spot. We called after hours number and they were quick to give us another lot, which was taken as well. On the 3rd try we got a spot. They were very apologetic, gave us a discount and even called the next day to make sure everything was ok with our stay. We stayed here for a month for work. All the sites are drive thru, The drive thru concrete side is nicer than the gravel. On the gravel side (where we stayed) it looks like some live there, the trailers are old and they look trashy. But we made it work being we only ate and slept there. We didn’t have a picnic table, but some spots do. But the concrete side is very clean. The amenities were, a small play ground for kids & a pool. We didn’t use these but they have a shower and bathroom. It also has a dog play area. We will return in July for one week of work. But we reserved the concrete area. There’s a Walmart and few stores nearby. Anyway, overall it’s really not a bad place to stay. Was just surprised at the age and upkeep of some of the RVs There’s very few places to stay in this area. But it’s really not that bad. So yes I would recommend.

ScoutI went to visit Cleat Springs. It is run down, roads are narrow and broken up, there are water moccasins in the lake. Nothing like the beautiful place it was.

Lots of trails and a large pond to fish and swim. Picnic areas and well maintained banks. I read a review that stated free primitive camping, but I found no such location.

There are some nice, private spaces, but staff weren’t placing anyone in them due to storm & tornado warnings! Kept everyone close to the office & restrooms (aka storm shelter). Great walking path by the river. A little less rustic than I like, but right across from Natchez, MS which was my touristy destination
RangerI drove through, The sites are level, clean and about half a pull through. Each site has a picnik bench fire pit. However, I did not stay because it had absolutely no Tmobile cell service and being alone and full time. I did not feel like camping without it. I did fine another campground on the same road about 150 miles north east. which I stayed at.

GuideWe spent a few days at River View RV Park in January, visiting Natchez and enjoying the view of the Mississippi River. The sites were pretty spacious and many have an unobstructed view of the river. There is even a nice paved trail on top of the levee.
The staff was super helpful with advice for what to see and where to eat. We will definitely return when the weather is warmer.
