Rivertown Rose Campground
Clean safe well run
It is a good place. Good sam discount made it about 31.00 a day with full hookup. Would come again. Big rig friendly. Pet friendly. Outside the city and the battlefield.

Plantation RV Park in Natchez features 41 sites with full hookups including both 30 and 50 amp service. Ameristar RV Resort Park in Vicksburg accommodates larger motorhomes with spacious pull-through sites and complete hookups.
Cell service varies significantly between parks, with most locations reporting adequate coverage for AT&T and Verizon, though signal strength can be limited at Clear Springs Recreation Area. Dump stations are available at all major RV campgrounds, with on-site sanitary dumps at River View, Natchez State Park, and Ameristar. Most parks accept pets with designated walking areas, and Good Sam discounts apply at several locations including River View and Rivertown Rose Campground. During storm seasons, some parks like River View implement safety protocols, placing RVs closer to office buildings that serve as storm shelters. Reservation policies differ between parks - state parks typically require advance booking through their reservation systems, while private RV resorts often accommodate same-day arrivals when space permits.
"Almost 150 sites, with water, sewer and 30/50 amp electric. There are also a few tent sites with electricity. It’s well kept-grass is mowed, grounds and facilities are clean."
"Mostly pull through full hookup sites."

"We have Large, Level Tree Shaded lots. Pads are concrete and easily accessible. Full Hook Ups and Great WiFi. We are minutes from downtown Historical Natchez attractions and Southern Food."
"Quilly’s has new owners and they have already begun upgrades - bathroom and laundry rooms remodel. Adding gravel to the level sites."
"All the sites are drive thru, The drive thru concrete side is nicer than the gravel. On the gravel side (where we stayed) it looks like some live there, the trailers are old and they look trashy."
"Of the 3 campgrounds in the Vicksburg area that we viewed, Ameristar RV Resort park was the best. The lady in the cg office was pleasant and helpful."
"Inexpensive with full hookups. Pet friendly and people friendly. Some full timers but a nice place. Transportation to and from casinos provided."
"the campgrounds are tucked back in the wooded areas. You drive in from main highway and feel like you’re in a tunnel of trees; temperature drops 5-10 degrees."
"Don’t let the condition of the road or the buildings scare you away from this state park. These people have had to clean up after 2 hurricanes this year."

"Located close to Vicksburg, Ms. and on a small man made lake. The area is hilly and has some great hiking trails. The bathrooms are small but do have a shower."
"Clear Springs Recreation Area, located in the Homochitto National Forest near Roxie, Ms, is probably one of my favorite campgrounds within 3 hours from New Orleans."
"Super clean facilities. Well maintained camp ground."
"The park is staffed with friendly staff and was very clean. Great access to the lake from most of the camp sites."
"Electric and water. Dump station available. Did not see the park host, but we reserved online. Bathrooms were clean (except the corners had cobwebs). Hiking, biking, and kayaking."
"Since it was a spur of the moment decision, there were no neighboring sites with a view of the lake to choose from. We ended up at sites 36 and 37 since access to the lake was nearby."

$20, $13 with fed pass. 22 sites. Electric & water hookups. Dump station. Two campground loops - B: Sites 1-12, & A: Sites 13-22. Loop A is prettier that Loop B, but Loop B has more level sites which may be more suitable for larger campers. Camped at site 7 in a camper van. Large site backed against the woods with access to a hiking trail. Not much privacy between sites. Nice family campground. Sites have table, lantern post & fire ring. Picnic Area also in this rec area. Beautiful setting by the lake. Restroom/shower house needs some work. Mens shower stalls have standing water in them - possible drainage issue. Women's toilet stalls also have a similar issue due to a leaky toilet. Bugs were not too bad here in April. No AT&T & T-Mobile service at our campsite, but picked up a weak signal by the lake.
10 to 15 spaces around a big loop in a wooded area. Little run down but the area was pretty. There were what appeared to be two long term "campers" also in the loop but no one else. Very quiet at night. Campfire ring, grill grate and old wooden picnic table. Mostly flat spots with a couple of pull through spots.
We arrived around 8 pm. I am originally from the Crystal Springs area so expected bad roads, low hanging tree limbs ect... road wasn't great but also wasn't full of pot holes as I expected. There were no low hanging tree limbs, just keep your speed to about 35 and you'll be fine. This is quite possibly the hidden gem of my beloved State of Mississippi. Quiet, No WiFi, T-mobile worked in some locations. We had 35 OTA channels, not that we watched TV but it was available. Park has pull through and back in, level concrete pads with fire pit and table, 50/30/15 electric, water and sewer.
This is a very nice RV Park. It’s big. Almost 150 sites, with water, sewer and 30/50 amp electric. There are also a few tent sites with electricity. It’s well kept-grass is mowed, grounds and facilities are clean. There is a playground, a dog park, pool and hot tub. Showers and bathrooms are nice. Laundry room, small grocery/gift shop. And a guest lounge. There is a paved walking trail along the river. There is also a public boat ramp about 1/4 mile away for access to the Mississippi. Internet was sport. With this many Class A motorhomes and people streaming media the server can’t keep up.
Mostly pull through full hookup sites. Nice grass inbetween sites, lots of shade trees, but not all spots shady, concrete pads (not sure if all are but most), gravel on roads, trash pickup at site, lots of grassy areas for walking dogs, some tent sites. Very attentive and friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again, had spot 111 at the end with a great view of the mighty Mississippi River. Accepts Good Sam discount.
I drove through, The sites are level, clean and about half a pull through. Each site has a picnik bench fire pit. However, I did not stay because it had absolutely no Tmobile cell service and being alone and full time. I did not feel like camping without it. I did fine another campground on the same road about 150 miles north east. which I stayed at.

Nice primitive grounds with pull-through and back-in options. Gave a 1 in service because it is a first come first serve. It is a terrific spot to stop and sleep.
