We were planning to stay a second night in a better location on the resevoir… so we moved to avoid the sound, fury and allergens of a half dozen lawn tractor mowers circling us. The management notified us that there would be a $20. Fee for changing spaces plus the fees for an additional night and were asked to return to our original site until check in time if we didn’t want to pay the additional 20 bucks.
We moved to the bathhouse, showered, hung out by the pool until check out time and departed for another campground. Sometimes management treats guests according to the rules of an HOA, versus the hospitality industry. It was kind of sad.
We did enjoy the site, the pool and the water views. We didn’t enjoy the sound of traffic and grounds maintenance early in the morning. We might return one day, but much wiser, indeed.

Had a night of rain and lightning when we stayed there !! Camped on the hill passed the boat launch nice to hear the flowing water when the thunder died down . I would like to stay again on a dry night .. packed up early and left between showers the next morning

GuideWe will definitely come back to this campground. When you come to the campground , nightly rentals are first come first serve. You drive back and pick your available spot and go back to the office to pay. We were lucky to get a beautiful water spot this time. It’s clean and spots are a concrete pad. Right outside the campground is a Kroger across the street. It’s convenient to lots of things but tucked away as a quiet getaway.
RangerWe hit the jackpot with this small diamond in the rough campground right outside of Jackson. If you find yourself passing through Jackson, this is an excellent place to stop. This resort is beautiful and peaceful with the friendliness people around. The owner greets every visitor personally, showing you to your site, and making sure you have everything you need for the best stay possible. I can’t say enough about their hospitality. TravelerSuch a nice RV Park. We stayed in spot #1 and had a beautiful view of the lake, nice fire pit and picnic table. Our kids and babies loved feeding the ducks and walking around the lake. It was really clean and beautiful. Staff was super helpful and friendly. My only wish was that there was a playground for our kids but they said they have one ordered for this year. :). Can’t wait to stay again!
GuideThis is a really convenient location outside Jackson. It's clean and easy pull ins. The lake is nice if you have a boat but it can also be really windy.
GuideMelanie was so helpful! She sent me the RV pro map so it was easy to navigate to our spot, since we were coming in after 10pm. We felt safe and everyone around was very quiet. There was a fair amount of noise coming from the road, so I recommend having a loud fan or ear plugs if your a light sleeper. But over all enjoyed our stay. Our site was #24 and it was the best! Pull through site but also was across from the lake. Also was next to laundry/shower so we had a much bigger yard. We didn’t get to use it maybe next time!

We stopped quick passing through and it was nice an quiet. Seemed like they had a lot of water activities for summer time. We will definitely be back in the summer for a visit.
Our site was a very tight pull thru site. We definitely wouldn't of been able to pull out if the park was full. The site was very sloped so getting in the camper was difficult because the steps were so high off the ground.
TravelerUnfortunately we were unable to get in, a sheriff at the gate turned us around. Went to Chucky River Recreation which was wonderful and not far.
