Best RV Parks & Resorts near Clinton, MS

Clinton's RV camping infrastructure includes several established RV parks with varying amenities. Springridge Mobile Estates & RV Park provides full hookups with 50-amp electrical service in a residential setting just off I-20. Askew's Landing RV Campground, located in Edwards approximately 15 miles west of Clinton, offers 97 sites with both 30-amp and 50-amp connections, water, and sewer hookups in a more rural setting near a 15-acre lake. Swinging Bridge RV Resort in Byram features full hookup sites suitable for larger vehicles. Most parks have gravel pads that may require leveling blocks, particularly at Springridge where several reviews noted challenging site layouts. "The RV park itself was quiet. There was noise from the highway, but not enough to be disturbing. The site itself was fairly bare with little room to put any tables or chairs out. You are very close to any neighbors that occupy the next site."

Interstate access makes these RV parks convenient stopping points for travelers crossing Mississippi. Springridge Mobile Estates is particularly noted for its proximity to I-20, with multiple reviewers mentioning it as an ideal overnight stop. Amenities vary significantly between properties, with Askew's Landing offering more recreational facilities including a swimming pool, fishing lake, camp store, and laundry facilities. Pet policies are generally accommodating, with designated pet areas at several parks. Cell service is reliable throughout the region, supporting remote work needs. Summer months bring high humidity and temperatures, making reservations advisable, especially on holiday weekends. Most parks operate year-round without seasonal closures. Dump stations are available at all full-service RV parks, though Askew's Landing has received more positive reviews for its facility cleanliness compared to some other locations.

Small Diamond in the Rough Campground

We hit the jackpot with this small diamond in the rough campground right outside of Jackson. If you find yourself passing through Jackson, this is an excellent place to stop. This resort is beautiful and peaceful with the friendliness people around. The owner greets every visitor personally, showing you to your site, and making sure you have everything you need for the best stay possible. I can’t say enough about their hospitality. My only regret is not being able to stay longer! This was our second stop on our roadtrip from Dallas to Disney. Read the entire story at ChampagneOnDeck.com

    Calling Panther Lake

    Calling Panther Lake Campground

We arrived around 8 pm. I am originally from the Crystal Springs area so expected bad roads, low hanging tree limbs ect... road wasn't great but also wasn't full of pot holes as I expected. There were no low hanging tree limbs, just keep your speed to about 35 and you'll be fine. This is quite possibly the hidden gem of my beloved State of Mississippi. Quiet, No WiFi, T-mobile worked in some locations. We had 35 OTA channels, not that we watched TV but it was available. Park has pull through and back in, level concrete pads with fire pit and table, 50/30/15 electric, water and sewer.

Very quiet all thru the day and night. Friendly people all round. 5 min to walmart, tractor supply, and many restaurants and gas stations. Spacious lots so you arent right up on each other. Theres rental lots and cabins by the night, week and month. Theres saved spaces for those who just want a pulling over night. Theres big rigs here and small ones. Vintage and brand new. These are friendly people you can sit a chair or 2 outside and not have someone pounding on your door at 7am yelling about a toy or a chair left out all night. This is our face in canton so far. Lovely place with country atmosphere. Pet friendly and spacious. All u need is right here. Thank you ms. Kay and staff.

Natchez Trace Parkway - Rocky Springs

Looks like a very nice place

I drove through,  The sites are level, clean and about half a pull through.  Each site has a picnik bench fire pit.  However, I did not stay because it had absolutely no Tmobile cell service and being alone and full time.  I did not feel like camping without it.  I did fine another campground on the same road about 150 miles north east. which I stayed at.

    LeFleur's Bluff State Park Campground

    Lovely

Found this sweet campground traveling cross country. Quiet, large level concrete pad, 30 & 50 amp, water, dump station, $35 after tax. Even tho it was in town,. It was so quiet you could hear the birds on the pond. Gravel road entrance is decent. Only drawback was the burn ban.

Natchez Trace Parkway - Rocky Springs

all Trees, Quiet. A great place to stay overnight on the Natchez Trail

Nice primitive grounds with pull-through and back-in options. Gave a 1 in service because it is a first come first serve. It is a terrific spot to stop and sleep. We camped at Natchez Trace Parkway- Rocky Springs in a Fifth Wheel. Didnt get a chance to take photos, we arrived at dark and left early morning.
