Situated along the Superior Hiking Trail northeast of Kadunce River Camping, this hike-in site in Superior National Forest follows a standard backcountry layout: four tent pads, a fire pit, and a pit toilet. Water access is notably difficult here. The payoff comes from continuing roughly half a mile past camp to a spur trail that drops into the Kadunce River gorge, where hikers can work upstream through a canyon ending at a waterfall. Fall visits allow easier rock-hopping, though spring high water may complicate river travel, so plan timing accordingly.
