Located in Northern MI, the Sportsman’s Port has been serving paddlers and campers since 1970. Our paddlers have the option of renting canoes, kayaks or rafts. We service the the beautiful Pine River, located in the heart of the Manistee National Forest.
The Pine River is not only one of the most scenic rivers in Northern MI, it’s also a blue ribbon trout stream and offers the fastest average flow of any river in lower Michigan.
Our campground offers 40 acres of beautiful hardwoods with cabin rental, electric, and primitive sites with a clean bathhouse with 7 hot showers, along with men’s and women’s restrooms. Additional amenities include 2 pavilions electric and concrete floors, community fire pit, basketball and volleyball court, small playground and a camp store with hot fresh coffee every morning, complimentary to our campers. Well-seasoned firewood is also available along with ice and other camping supplies.
