Birchwood Resort and campground

The spots were quite close together and the name does not quite match the place. While I understand it is near the woods, it was extremely buggy and wish we visited the national park across the street instead. I liked that you could text with the site operator but caution the mannerism is very much like described on other reviews.

My family spent 8 days with Pat and Harold. They were very helpful and courteous. We rented a pontoon boat for the week from the resort and Harold made sure to check on us about it daily. Even used the campgrounds air compressor to fill our intertubes. They are some of the nicest people I have ever met. I will be going back again!
