Zealot Leash

Overall a decent Campground. Lots are spacious. Layout of fire pit on sites are poor. For example lot 76, fire is offset to the left of the electrical post. This is a problem since majority of RVs have awnings on the right side and electrical hook up on the back left side. Our fire pit ended up…

Bewabic State Park

We stayed at Bewabic State Park in a 34’ trailer. We stayed in site 61 which is a narrow site at the bottom of a small hill and on a corner, which made backing in tricky. The site was very nice and had buffers all around, with only a neighbor to one side. We chose 61 because on the map it appeared…

Great hiking trip!

We had a great hiking trip. Our first night we spent on the escarpment trail. Unreal to wake up in your hammock to this view. Bugs were really bad at LOC site but the escarpment and Little carp/LAke superior hikes were not bad and worth the bug battle.

Family friendly

My family, along with a couple other families, used to camp here for a week every year when we were kids. There are 2 beaches, trails, beautiful wooded sites, and the lakes water is as clear as advertised. You will need to reserve your site 11 months in advance because it fills up fast. If you have…

Great Family Atmosphere

We enjoyed the amenities and activities this campground had to offer. Clean bathrooms and laundry room. Great activities for kids…fishing presentation, movie, kickball. The site was full sun which got hot. There were shaded sites, but we couldn’t get sites together in the woods to be close to…

I’ve come back twice and would a third time

Pros: nice campground, right on the lake. Has a nice beach access (although keep in mind it may be closed in early summer due to swimmers itch). The staff was really friendly, and even suggested to switch to a better campsite for free. The dump/fill station is efficient and clean. Pretty…

Up in the clouds

I stayed here when the weather was not in my favor...it rained. With that, we had the greatest time hanging out at our campsite. It was a little slick on the site with all of the mud, but it made for fun stories. Close to the park and hiking trails.

NO SERVICE MORE FUN

Awesome campground located right on a central boardwalk trail to 4 falls. no service anywhere near, and big rvs beware of the trip up the mountain as the roads haven't been paved in forever. if you can take the risk definitely stay at this gem in the mountains

Fancy rustic campground in the wilderness

This campground is in a wilderness area so there are regulations if you choose dispersed camping. The are 4 campground loops and many campsites out around the lakes. We chose a spot in loop 3.

Our site is large with plenty of space for our teardrop and screen room. Water is right next to us. This…

Decently far from the road among small lakes

Enjoy the road as it winds you between many lakes on the way to Henry Lake. 5 miles of well kept gravel road. It gets bumpier on the last leg to the campground.

A small campground with one loop awaits you. A variety of nice sites with plenty of shade can be found. All of them were empty when we…
