Great place!!

We stayed for a 3 night stay recently with our 1 and 5 year old and we had such a nice weekend. This campground is very clean all the site are spacious. They have quite a few full timers, everyone seems to really love this place. We went for nightly walks it was also pleasantly quiet at night.…

Very nice camping

We enjoyed our time here, sites are bigger with lots of trees/shade. Nice views, bathrooms will be a bit rustic for some. But we loved the area and space the campground provides. The worms dropping from the trees were crazy.

First time, will be back!

We had a chilly Memorial Day weekend but were very impressed with the campground. Great mix of activities for the kids. Big park but felt small, no problems with traffic and golf carts like we have experienced at other “resort” style campgrounds. All sites are full hookup and there are just enough…

Would not recommend this camp ground. Very rude employees. Very dirty campsites.

not the best, not the worst

This campground is a good sized campground, but doesn't have much to do there.  There is a small lake that is fun for short kayak/canoe rides and fishing.  It's called Turtle Lake for obvious reasons- when my kids went fishing, they pulled up large snapping turtles both times. A bit of a surprise…

Quiet campground with nice sites and helpful staff

We have stayed here several times. Wooded sites and a decent amount of space. The staff is friendly and they are very helpful in finding a good site based on what you are looking for. The campground is convenient to Sleep Bear Dunes, Traverse City and all the nearby activities. I would give it 5…

So many activities

This resort is great if you are wanting a bustling campground full of activities. There is a pool, jump pad, miles and miles of mountain biking trails and hiking trails, a man made lake which has some inflatable water toys. The campground also has a pool, hammock area, bikes and other rental toys,…

Nice and grassy

What I liked best about this park was that my children were not caked in dirt. While I understand that comes with the territory of camping, this campground provides a bit more of a grassy setting and offers a nice playground. The bathrooms were redone and are very nice! The thing I didn’t…

Great location near the dunes

This is a good-sized campground with loops on either side of the road. None of the sites offer much privacy and in the busy season you can feel pretty packed in. But the location is awesome due to its proximity to the Silver Lake Off Road Vehicle Area, Lake Michigan, Silver Lake and the Little…

Close to Sleeping Bear Dunes

This is a nice campground with many options, as far as campsites go.  They have everything from basic tent sites to high end sites for newer Class A motorhomes and fifth wheels.  The pool is decent and there are organized activities for kids.

  • Short drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes.

This is a nice campground although there's a big sign at the entrance discouraging loud music.
