Did not stay but passed through looking for a site

Just wanted to update. This campground appears to be under new management. There are new posts and it is now self register.$10 a night. We were passing through looking for a site. There is one“beach” site and 3 other sites at this time. Not very private but very close to the lake. No electric hook up. Artesian well. Would check it out in the future as it was full for the holiday weekend.

Small and sweet

Open and not much shade but large sites. Very small beach. It is first come first serve self register and all of the registration sheets were out when we checked it. Though they are one of the few campgrounds along highway 2 with sites available in the later afternoon. Also it is far enough from the highway to not have a lot of highway noise. Pleasant bare bones camping but not my first choice.

Quiet spot of US2

Minimal accommodations. Very small. Undefined sites. Reserve yours site with the general store up the way and get supplies. Apple tree on site. Lake Michigan kayak access but too overgrown for a boat.
