Cheap and Rustic
It was extremely buggy and wooded, but the campsites were pretty private. The water was warm and shallow. Something strange about the lake was the clay texture of the sand. It was very soft and inviting. At least where we were, the water stayed below our knees, so not the best for swimming, but lovely to wade in.
The privy was cleaner than I anticipated and there weren't many bugs in it. Our tent was completely covered in weevils and mosquitos. I wore my bug net the entire time.
I do not recommend drinking the water from this campground as it was yellow in color. Still, it was a cheap place to stay the night. For only $15/night, it is more than sufficient.

Lakeside sites
Lovely inland lakeside sites. This is a large all sports lake and the campground has a boat launch. Some sites where uneven and hilly and may be a challenge for a large RV. First come/self registration. Most site where right up against the water, some had nice swimming areas and most would be great for kayaking access.

Cute little lake
Our campsite was on the lake side and it was perfect. Plenty of shade and shelter. Access to the lake is great. We walked out in knee deep water and played frisbee and watched the sunset. Mosquitos are thick so bring your bug spray.
