Reservations are available at this private campground in Germfask, Michigan, with rates running $30 to $45 per night and a season that runs May 1 through October 15. Sites accommodate RVs up to 65 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer, and a dump station is on-site. Access is straightforward by car, though the campground sits directly off the highway, and traffic noise carries through. Paddlers can also arrive by boat.
The campground's main draw is water access. Canoe, kayak, and tube rentals operate on-site, making it a functional base for river time without hauling gear far. Sites are compact, and reviewers note the close quarters mean a neighbor's sewer connection may sit near your picnic table. Staff have been noted as helpful and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Bathrooms are kept clean, according to multiple reviewers.
Campers exploring places to camp around Seney will find a handful of options in this stretch of the Upper Peninsula, including Northland Outfitters Campground & Canoe / Kayak Livery less than a mile north. Big Cedar runs the full amenity list, with drinking water, showers, WiFi, and pets allowed. One reviewer noted the campground is "quaint and bathrooms were well attended to," though also flagged the small site sizes. This campground works best for paddlers who want on-site rentals and hookups without traveling far from the water.
