More expensive now

Tents sites are now $20 and RV hookups (water and 20/30 amp) are $30. When I got to the police station they were closed for the week but a phone # was provided to call dispatcher and an officer responded promptly to help me get registered. Cash or check only.

As advertised !

Other reviews cover it well and the details are still relevant. Great 1 or 2 night stop-over! First come first served.

Max 3 nights, the only odd thing is registering at the police department (about a half mile away) but they make it simple and easy once you are there.

Small nice & cheap

Campgrounds are small, 4 RV sites & 2 tent sites. Noise level is moderate to high - road noise & construction, and relatively loud water treatment. Water and electric available, no dumping. Trash and porta potty near by.

Registration is at the police department, and if it’s after hours you may have to call an off site officer to meet you with the phone provided. They do not allow seggs offenders or anyone with an active warrant. Police drove through 2-3 times per day. I had no issues & the park mostly to myself for 3 days.

Great spot for a few nights

The camping spots are in a park right off the main road, however they are tucked all the way around back offering surprisingly private camping.

There are 4 spots with electric, 3 of which are paved. There are also 4 tent sites. 2 water spigots shared by the 4 electric sites. No sewer. Picnic tables at each site.

The downtown area is a short walk and has some great dining options.

Beautiful super small camping in town

The campsites are located past the playground and shelter. Just keep driving down the road that looks like an alley. There is a wonderful place set up for just a few campers.

A couple sites are for tents only and the others are standard sites. There are a few trees by the sites but it’s mostly open area. Portable toilets are at the end of the camping area and in the playground area. The playground is a day use area for town so expect to meet some locals.

Driving just down the street takes you to the police station. This is where you register for the site. Town is around you and ready to explore. There are a few train tracks and industrial businesses which provide a bit of noise along with traffic. For us, the noise just slid right into the background.

This is a great place for a low price.
