Interlochen Green lake North
It was a nice stay, we went in September and almost had the place to ourselves aside from 3 other campers. The sites are well spaced. Some do offer more shade than others though. There is quite a bit of road noise being right off of M137 so keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper. It was nice waking up to hearing loons calling on the lake though. The campground doesn’t have any trails or a nice beach, but there’s lots to do nearby. Sleeping bear dunes and the Leelanau peninsula are within driving distance.
Pretty average
Pretty average state park with very little to do. It is closeish to Traverse City. Sites were small, bathrooms were clean. Near the Interlocken Center for the arts.
State Park is Literally Just a Campground
It’s clean. Sites are nice and big. The Green Lake is clean but no beach. There aren’t any trails or activities. It’s a letdown in terms of the state park. It’s close to better things to do. I’d recommend staying in Sleeping Bear or Traverse City instead.
