Small but rustic (if you like that)

Very rustic, but not many sites and quiet. Campsites were small, but there were bear-proof dumpsters and clean bathrooms. All in all, a decent site to sleep, but we didn't spend much time hanging out there. We like rustic, but just a heads up, it's a drive to get to a town of any size or convenience.

One of my annual visits!

Small campground with absolutely stunning views of the lake! The "beach" area is a bit rocky and I wouldn't recommend actually swimming there, but there's decent fishing and it's very quite. It's also conveniently located with lots of local firewood stands and places for food.

Beautiful sites, great fishing!

Campsites are very clean and big, with nice trails to explore. Just a heads up, the sites with "lake access" don't actually have lake access - it's a steep drop to the water. Tumble at your own risk. Also, there are few trees within the boundaries of the actual campsites, so if you like hammock naps, you'll probably have to venture out of your site a bit. Great opportunities to fish the river nearby though, and the Trak Bar & Grill in nearby Brethren has an awesome burger.
