Family camping

Open, family friendly campground. Not a lot of privacy, beach closes at 10pm.

Lake Access

Rustic sites that are a fair ways apart, some sites have more privacy than others. A few spots offer your own trail to get to the somewhat rocky shoreline. This is probably my favorite place to camp at the moment.

Good for groups

Easy to get spots together as a group. Rustic. Pavilion and play equipment for kids. Stairway access to Lake Michigan.

Quiet

Quiet other than traffic noises once in awhile. Rustic. Stairs provides for entrance into Duck Lake, be careful, the state park was warning campers about swimmer's itch.

Quiet canoe camping

Rustic campground with access to the Boardman river and many miles of trails in the state forest. Bring cash, no state park workers onsite, honor pay system. Lots of shade and when we were there not busy at all.
