Overview
Natures Wilderness RV Lodge (formerly Nature's Wilderness Resort) is a privately operated resort campground set on approximately 900 acres of forested land in West Baldwin, Maine, roughly 40 minutes from Portland and 10 minutes from Sebago Lake. The property is now part of the Modern America Campgrounds network and accommodates RV campers, tent campers, and guests in fully appointed log cabins and glamping units. The campground operates seasonally from May through mid-October.
Facilities
RV sites include water, sewer, and 20/30/50-amp electric hookups; sites are gravel-pad with a 40 ft maximum length. Tent sites include electric and water connections and come with picnic tables and fire rings. Deluxe log cabins feature HDTV, A/C, heat, and full kitchen appliances; glamping cabins include a kitchenette, microwave, refrigerator, and outdoor grill. The property offers clean bathrooms, showers, laundry, a general store, a game room/lounge, and a restaurant. A sanitary dump station is available on-site.
Recreation
Guests have access to 12 miles of hiking and biking trails, fishing in multiple stocked ponds, complimentary use of canoes, kayaks, and rowboats, a swimming pool, a beach area, and a playground with dog park. Volleyball and shuffleboard courts are also available. Note: ATVs and dirt bikes are no longer permitted on the property per the current operator.
