Naples Campground operates as a KOA property on the edge of Long Lake in Naples, Maine, running from late April through mid-October. The campground draws a mix of RV travelers and families, with full hookup sites accommodating rigs up to 50 feet, plus water, electric, and sewer connections. Sites vary considerably: the newer section has little shade and reads more like an RV parking area, while the older portion has established tree cover. Reservations are available and worth booking ahead for summer weekends.
Amenities run toward the comprehensive side. The property has WiFi, a dump station, clean bathhouses that multiple reviewers describe as well-maintained, and on-site activities including water slides and a pool. Cyn D. notes that "kids loved the water slides, crafts and pool," which reflects what the campground does well for families with young children. Boat and jet ski rentals are accessible nearby on the lake. The campground allows pets, though breed restrictions apply and are documented in writing at check-in.
A few practical considerations are worth knowing before arrival. The access road has rough sections, so tow vehicles and larger rigs should account for that. The campground hosts a significant number of seasonal campers, which affects site density and the general feel during peak summer months. Management style has drawn mixed feedback, ranging from an owner who personally welcomed exhausted arrivals with a pizza to reports of surveillance-heavy staff behavior from at least one solo traveler. Campers researching camping near Naples will find this property is one of the more amenity-rich options in the area, making it a reasonable fit for RV families who prioritize on-site activities over seclusion.
