Come experience 100% enjoyment and relaxation surrounded by towering trees with views of Dale Hollow Lake. It is a jewel in the south, and one of the cleanest lakes you will find, with 620 miles of shoreline. There is so much to do. We have trails to walk or bike and we are within 2.5 miles of a major marina for boating enthusiasts. We offer kayaks for rent and provide fire rings and picnic areas for our guests.

We are off the beaten path yet so close to so many of Kentucky's natural treasures. Our convenient location offers numerous opportunities for day trips; scuba dive the flooded city of Willow Grove or visit nearby Daniel Boone National Forest, Mammoth Cave National State Park, Green River State Park, and Old Kentucky Home State Park. After your fun-filled day, come back to recharge and relax in front of a cozy fire in the quiet and comfort of our park. Pets are welcome and we have WIFI.

Don't have an RV or tent? We have a sweet little air-conditioned cabin that sleeps a party of 2 adults and 2 children. We also have bathrooms with showers, a laundry area, and a concession stand. Picnic areas and fire rings are included with site rentals.

Management lives on site for the security and convenience of our guests.

We are glad to have you visit us! We hope you will enjoy the area as much as we do. Our park is located just 4 miles from Gunnels fish camp, 8 miles from sunset marina, 12 miles from Wolf River Marina, 13 miles from Eagle’s Cove Safe Harbor, 27 miles from Dale Hollow State Park and 20 miles from Lake Cumberland and surrounded by beautiful countryside with gentle rolling hills where deer and turkey roam, and yes, our resident owl or two. It is a peaceful place to relax and refresh. We have three creeks and a pond, which brings an abundance of wildlife as well as some good fishing (catch and release). We are a RV campground with year-round, full hook up, Wi-Fi, 20, 30, and 50 amps on box with night light. Each slip area has a fire ring, picnic table, and covered waste receptacle. Near Future projects we have planned are, will be adding tent camping, more RV areas, resizing the pond, adding trails, and future fun events. We hope you will come and check us out soon!

The Perfect Getaway: The Farm RV Resort Review

If you’re looking for an idyllic spot to park your RV and unwind, The Farm RV Resort is an absolute gem. Nestled in a serene countryside setting, this resort offers the perfect blend of nature and comfort. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed by the friendly and helpful staff who made check-in a breeze. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with spacious, level sites that provide plenty of room for both our RV and outdoor activities. We particularly loved the well-kept grass areas and the full hook-ups, making it super convenient for extended stays. The resort has a rustic charm that makes you feel like you’re getting away from it all, yet it still provides modern amenities. One of the highlights of our stay was the peaceful atmosphere. The surrounding farm landscape, with its rolling fields and calm breeze, is perfect for those who enjoy the quiet outdoors. We spent our evenings watching sunsets, enjoying the fresh air, and even taking walks around the grounds. For those looking for activities, the resort offers a variety of fun options. There’s a cozy clubhouse with games and a small store for essentials, plus a community fire pit where guests can gather and share stories under the stars. We also enjoyed the nearby trails, perfect for hiking or biking. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already planning our next visit!

    Sister Shenanigans

Stayed at Corbin/ Laurel Lake KOA near Cumberland Falls State Park while at a group event. We were in the nicely shaded loop and had more then enough room to set up and visit with each other. We were in the area for the Moonbow but unfortunately it was overcast and we missed seeing it. We enjoyed hiking in the area and had an excellent time at the KOA. The campground was well maintained and I tent trailer camped. My site was big and level.

Very clean and well maintained, quiet and no interstate noise.safe for families, great for kids. The trails are well maintained and all levels of riders will have a full week of fun here!!

Nice place for a stop while passing through

Enjoyed this campground as a quick one night stop during the winter.   I think it could seem crowded in the peak season when it is full.

Decent WIFI which was a big plus and, while we stayed in a full hook up site, the dump station was well positioned and easy to navigate.

The playground, mini golf, bath houses, and the multipurpose room in one of the buildings all looked well maintained and very nice.

    Glad we stopped

    Remote, Quiet, and Beautiful

We camped here when we did a trip to Mammoth Cave NP. This campground has plenty of campsites and some cabins. They offer long term stays here too. The campground is close to Lake Cumberland which is a beautiful very large man made lake. The campground itself has nice and clean bathrooms and showers and the staff is very nice and friendly. It has a pool, playground, and a nice game room. It is a bit off the beaten path but it was a pleasure staying here. The campsites are set up nicely with plenty of room and they even have small wooden fence dividers. Nice little touch.

    Well Maintained State Park

Well maintained, easy access from I75, full hook up with good cell service. Dog friendly, quiet and patrolled by state park rangers, and Jellico police.

The picnic tables and fire rings are oddly placed at some campsites. Camp store was only open Sat & Sun. Jellico is a very small town, so if you need supplies it is only a short trip to Williamsburg, KY

    Good campsite

Campsites are nice but electric hookups only at certain sites. Its a national campground so its beautiful with nice bathouses but not much activities other than hiking. There are a limited amount of sites that would accommodate a large RV, mostly tent sites. It is first come first serve with no reservations. There is no rv parks close if the campground is full.

    Great for ATV riders

This is a brand new, small campground with mini cabins. This is a perfect place to stay for a getaway to ride ATV’s in the Big South Fork and Pickett State Forrest area. The campsites are full hook up. Only 10 campsites, so it is not overcrowded. This would be a really great spot to meet up with several friends/family. The campground is also across the street from the Astronomy Field for dark sky viewing.

Con: Located on the highway, so you do have some road noise.

    Clean, good views, level sites

Great campground with very friendly and helpful rangers. Was pretty empty the night we were there. Very cool tent camping spots right on the small lake and RV spots all pretty much have a lake view. Full hookups and dump when you exit the campground. They do not have water at the sites in the winter. Bathrooms were clean enough and the showers were hot. Would definitely come back. Many trailheads near the campsite but the weather was bad when we were there. Drone photos courtesy of SweetDroneChicago on Instagram

    Not an RV Park

This place is not an RV park. This is only a parking place behind buildings just off the main road. Yes they do have hook ups but this is not the nicest area and you are sharing a pool with the Budget Inn hotel guest. There are only a few spots to park. Yea you are close to a few restaurants but again you are parked behind them in a gravel lot. It must have been trash day because dumpsters were being slammed before 7 AM. I would consider this more of a stop out of necessity, not a destination. No privacy, no shade, not an ideal location. Just No. No, No is all I can say. Had we realized what it actually was, we would have drove on. When we called to ask for availability, they stated they were both a hotel and RV park, please do not come here with any expectations of an RV park. Lease don’t come here at all.

    Peaceful, dispersed campground

This was a great campground. Very secluded and peaceful. Alot to see and do nearby without the crowds you see elsewhere. Helpful staff was very attentive and always nearby. Bathrooms were very clean, and showers were clean and in individual rooms for great privacy. I just wish they had water hook-ups. Also know that if you plan on using a debit/credit card, you have to pay at the visitor center off site. This campground is first come, first serve. No reservations. However, if you go in the off season or on short notice, that can be a benefit. Only 2 rows of this campground are for RVs (paved parking and electric). The rest are for tents.

    Mountain Lake Marina and Campground

    Campground Has Potential

Let me start off by saying this campground is difficult at best to find any information about online. I tried to go to their website off several searches and nothing came up that was valid. I had been told about this site when passing through the area because of their water views and fair pricing. I was fortunate that the phone number on the site at least worked so I could find them. If you follow GPS, I wish you luck, if yours does what mine did it took me in circles and then kept saying rerouting. I opted to call the campground and their directions were so much more simplistic.

With all that being said, once I arrived the tent camping here was nice. My site was level and on one of the many roads of camping. I was no where near the water, but that was ok because my site seemed to be far enough away from louder traffic which was going in and out of the marina area so that made my stay a bit more pleasant.

I decided to talk a walk around camp and it seemed like there had been some upgrades around the campsite, still other areas looked like they still needed a bit of work. Specifically in the way of the long term campers area which looked a bit junky in some areas.

I noticed that some of the RV paths had long hoses reaching across to access water, I am not sure if that was because their water wasn't working or if there were not enough spigots available. It looked like there were many using piggy backs.

The playground looked fairly new, the restaurant which floats on the water smelled delicious from a distance and the restrooms were very clean.

The staff was so friendly on my stay, someone drove past on a golf cart to welcome me when I had settled in and we had a great chat to which they told me there is a continued effort to make improvements to better accommodate campers including a project to potentially widen the roads on the RV loops.

This place has some great potential but isn't quite there yet. I am interested in keeping up with this place to see how it changes over time.

    TIPS:

    • When you are in this area you are near 2 state parks which have a lot of hiking and water options as well. Both of these can be traveled to via boat from the marina.

    • In Rocky Top there is a very interesting historical exhibit to visit about the miners and the war which took place with these miners.

    Small but Nice!

Easy to find, well marked. It’s has many (12) trails and many falls. Would definitely recommend shopping before camping, it’s several miles, and mountains, to get to stores. There are several lodging options…cottages, The Lodge, (which is beautiful) tent and RV camping. There are 2 small campgrounds ~ 1) Ridgeline which accommodates RVs up to 26”, water and 10/30/50 amp hook ups. Sites have a fire ring and picnic table. WiFi is available, and there is a dump station. A small playground, office/campstore, and a bathhouse and laundry next to it. 3 sites are walk-in. Big rigs would have to stay elsewhere. 2) Clifty Campground is tent camping only 7 sites offer electric and water. WiFi is also offered. There is a bathhouse and a playground, and these CG’s are pet friendly. (Falls Creek is a few miles up the road…they have pull through and back ins. For bigger Rvs. They also have tents, wagons, cabin rentals, and primitive sites) We had no T-Mobile service, or satellite service in our vehicle. The trails and Cumberland falls were awesome. The horse rides looked amazing, and the Pool was big, with a diving board, and a small fee for campers to use it.

Absolutely love daniel boon national forrest. This camp ground is wonderful. We found ourselves completely alone mid week and stayed for several days. There are sites suitable for tents and electric hook ups for RVs. The showers were great hot...thats always a plus. We stayed here and did a bunch of day hikes.

There is hiking, biking, fishing, climbing and all kinds of other activities in the surrounding areas. On your out make sure to stop at Miguels for some awesome people and pizza and ale 8. This is a world renown climbing hub. Really cool campground, hostel co-op here that sometimes has live music..You won't regret the pizza.

    Cheers!

    OMG! O

We stayed for a few days and as a backpacker, the local hikes are some of the best I have ever seen! I would say most of the hikes are moderate, although some say easy. Grandma couldn’t leisurely walk, or scale some of the trails, so you have been warned. But for able bodied persons, the hikes are all doable. There are quite the variety of hike lengths to choose from, from short and squatty, to full day hikes. I’ll submit some of my favorite shots below. For RVs - I was towing a 21 ft trailer and my site at the bottom of the hill, which was away from other campers, but the grade was ridiculous! I had 6” of block height to level side to side! I heard other complaints from other longer tongue pullers as well, regarding the difficulty getting into their sites. Most of the sites are small, too close to other campers, or too close to the smell of the privies. But if you are hiking the area, I think the stay could be worth some of the hassle. There is a pull through dump station on the loop. There is electric and water. Tent campers - probably have plenty of room to spread out, some with power hookups and the convenience of showers at a central bathhouse. Daytime picnics - a beautifully large area to choose from and see. Lots of selections, all of them very well social distanced, family friendly and shaded with trees. Soooo much to see.

    Fishing Creek - Lake Cumberland

    Quiet and Simple

This Corp of Engineer campground is a small quiet lakeside getaway. Our site was $25 per night with water and electricity hookup. No full hookups here and several tent only sites. No issues and overall a very quiet place. Showers were clean but kinda small as usual. The only drawback is climbing all the steps to get to them. However, there is one handicapped accessible shower/toilet with handicap parking. Nothing fancy about this place but the lake view, privacy, and sounds of nature make up for anything posh. Will definitely stay again.

General Burnside Island State Park Campground

    Big park

Nice park on lake Cumberland. VERY busy in season. Doubt you'd get in without reservations. Bath houses available but we didn't check them out. Not the most level sites, but not too difficult to get leveled out. Would stay here again.
