Paul Ogle Riverfront Park

Paul Ogle Riverfront Park manages this drive-in campground along the Ohio River in Vevay, where sites provide direct water access for boaters and anglers. The campground sits behind the main park area, making it somewhat difficult to locate initially. Each site includes a picnic table, though electric and water hookups are not available at every spot.

Campers should note the significant flood risk due to the riverside location. The area requires periodic maintenance and mowing to keep sites in good condition. Sites offer little privacy between neighbors, but the open layout works well for groups wanting to stay connected. Dogs can exercise in the adjacent large park area. For those planning regional trips, places to camp around Carrollton provide additional options across the river in Kentucky.

Great Surprise

Rolled into this area for water and found two free campgrounds next to the river with a large park for the dogs to play in. A pretty solid spot except you don’t have much privacy. Other than that would definitely recommend for a night or two.

Very pretty view from the site but hard to find

Very pretty view of the riverfront! The campground was a little hard to find because it’s hidden behind an actual park but once we found it, we found that each campground had a picnic table BUT not every site had water and electric outlets. This area looks like it hasn’t been taken care of in a little bit and may need a clean up but honestly with a mow it’s a great site!

BIG WARNING would be that it floods tremendously because it is so close to the water! Be aware of rain and water rising!

SiteNo numbers! But ours was the closest to the entrance!
