Like the other KOAs in this area, this is certainly not a destination campground. It is however great for an overnight stay and convenient for checking out all the tourist attractions in the area.
They have a nice pavilion, dog park, laundry and the spaces are nice.
Staff was very nice, very friendly and they had little treats when you check in!
Everything you need for a good overnight stay, or launching pad is here. They have full hookups, partial hookups, awesome tent sites, cabins and a sizable area for full timers. There’s a pool, dog park, washers and dryers and a playground.
The staff is VERY nice and accommodating.
We often stay here when traveling from Vegas, usually for a month or more. It is a no frills park, but a beautiful, relaxing place to unwind and enjoy nature.
We actually ended up here due to some severe weather forcing us to stop. It turned out to be a great overnight stay with plenty of room to walk the pups and get some exercise before moving on.
It a full service RV Park with full hook ups, free laundry, and a single use bathroom on site. There were also items for purchase by the office.
This campground is Small, but a well laid out campground. They have daily, weekly and monthly rates. There are Full hook ups, pull thru and back in sites, so it’s convenient no matter what you are driving. They nice level spots and definitely well maintained. A m Is quite a bit of shade, which is nice in the Kansas heat once summer rolls around.
It’s not the best I’ve ever been to, but it’s a as great family campground with beautiful views. We travel with two adorable rescues and appreciated the awesome dog park where they could run a bit. The restrooms are adequate and clean. Views are beautiful as you will see for yourself. Would definitely return. Tastes are $56-60
Absolutely love this peaceful, quiet campground. We stay here weeks at a time when visiting Cincinnati. It’s no frills, but the view, the ducks and the serenity are well worth staying here. There are showers, an awesome library, a store, laundry and walking trails
Awesome campground… everything you want to do while on vacation with your family or kids. There are several fishing ponds and a lake with a beach area. There are 2 pools, and a golf course. Laundry facilities are decent, and there are plenty of machines. My one negative is the condition of the roads throughout the campground. The owners seem to be slacking off on maintenance and therefore, there’s a lot of mud and potholes on here. We are frequent here while visiting family in Indiana.
Unfortunately, this was just a one night stay during another of our cross country trips to Cincinnati. This place had it all and is quite lovely with well maintained sites. I’m The owners obviously take pride in keeping things looking neat, clean and welcoming. Good spaces between lots, and plenty of room to spread out. Laundry had many machines and it was clean, as were the rest rooms. The store was very nice and had a nice variety of items. We would definitely incorporate this into our next cross country.
I believe this is the new name for this park (same address). It is too nice of a park to not be reviewed! The park sits on 2 terraced levels and consists of nice, grassy, large sites. The area is very pretty and the park overlooks a river. Check in was very easy and convenient. You will see from the pics and videos what a nice little spot it is for a Kansas visit!
After a long, long day of driving, this was a true treat to pull into. As soon as we set up we ventured off to“duck island” after crossing their little bridge over the Colorado. It was truly refreshing to have trails, lots of beautiful landscaping and the Colorado river to relax with. There’sa nice pool, restrooms are clean, staff is delightful and spaces are large and inviting. Each has a fire and picnic table. Other than slight noise from the highway, this is definitely 5 star.

This was really convenient and close to Indy, where we took the grandkids to the children’s museum. The lake is fabulous, but there didn’t seem to be too many fish available for catching!! Pretty place and fun for a laid back place to stay. I wouldn’t recommend it for long term.
Love this park! We have gone there many times when we wanted to visit the fair and Brown County . Really nice campsites to choose from and the sites are beautiful. It also has nice hiking, horse and mountain bike trails.
Great little campground on beautiful Bass Lake. Restaurants and ice cream shop close by. Highly recommend for a definite fun time!! Kids LOVE this campground. Restrooms definitely needed attention, but otherwise a great choice.
Nice, secluded location with large camp lots. There is one larger lake with several smaller ponds. Well kept. Nice management. Fun for the kids.
Beautiful campground with plenty of great views. There are ample hiking trails and activities for all ages. The swimming pool is awesome and a great plus when camping with kids. The woods are very thick and filled with amazing trees. Plenty of shaded sites and sunny ones, if you prefer. The place is up on a large mini mountain, this, the reason for the name!
Nothing special about this campground. Is there when you need it for an event. The one plus is that it is easy to go in, pick a spot and set up. And that’s about it!
You will be amazed with the beauty of this park. Whether you are seeking family time or solitude, it won’t disappoint.
Indiana Dunes National Park hugs 15 miles of the southern shore of Lake Michigan and has much to offer. Whether you enjoy scouting for rare species of birds or flying kites on the sandy beach, the national park's 15,000 acres will continually enchant you. Hikers will enjoy 50 miles of trails over rugged dunes, mysterious wetlands, sunny prairies, meandering rivers and peaceful forests.
For being a state park and relatively inexpensive, you’ll be delighted. I was very surprised and happy to see a beautiful beach area at this state park. It’s a wonderful place to go to during the summer and the kids will have a blast. Also, there are sand dunes around the area. Definitely bring lots of water with you if it is hot outside. It’s a good place by yourself or with friends and family and the kids will love it!
