Great Views

We were here to attend the 2023 Lippert Getaway and the staff did an amazing job making sure the park looked it's very best. As we had been here before, the campground (CG) was easy to find, but some people did say that their RV GPS wanted to take them down a dirt road on the other side of Henry Lake. Campers coming to Red Rock RV Park should come in on US-20 to Red Rock Pass Road. Check-in was very thorough, and we were escorted to premium pull-through site 69. Our daily rate reflects Lippert’s special RV rally rate plus two extra days at the full rate averaged out. We stayed here in September 2019, and now, under new ownership, the CG has doubled in sites and added a nice-sized fenced dog park, plus a second laundry and bathroom facility. The water here is very good pressure-wise, and we didn’t need to use our softener. The sites are pretty close together, so try to get an end site to have more yard area. The section we stayed in did not have mature trees, so using the satellite was no problem. The original section, sites 1-54, has many mature trees, so using satellite would be iffy. We got two bars on Verizon, and their WiFi was okay. The CG is about 30 minutes from Yellowstone’s west gate. We did get double charged for a propane tank fill and didn't catch it until after we had departed. I reached out via email with the proof of the double charge and they immediately credited my card. This is a very nice park with awesome views, but their normal rates are really over-priced in our opinion.

Not worth the money...stay elsewhere

Booked 6 months in advance and based it on many good reviews. Was promised a new, upgraded campground with a premium site. Found new section is not completed and under construction. Was placed on site 40, which is terribly unlevel, a muddy mess with no crush, no patio and a tree that lays disgusting bushy bug-like buds every day all over everything. The only site like this. We could not enjoy it outside at all. No dog park as advertised. Paid a good deal for a week and was very disappointed. It was far from all the attractions at Yellowstone. It takes 30 min to get to the west gate, and over an hour and half to any points in the park. People seemed nice enough. Did see a moose close by and the laundry room and store were nice. The store was way overpriced tho. West Yellowstone seemed much nicer and closer to NP. Wouldn't stay here again. So disappointed that we booked a week here. The site was horrible and I was told it was a nice site when I questioned it by staff.

Love this park!!

This is a great park in an area where there is so much to do and see!! Most sites are good size and they have huge pull-thrus, and are even adding more. They have some buddy sites too! The road to the park almost always has some form of wildlife, and the mountain views from the park are beautiful! The staff is awesome, and so is the area!! Hiking, biking, fishing, Yellowstone, Jeeping, Side by Sides, ATVs, kayaking, Virginia City, Nevada City, Johnny Sack Cabin, Big Springs, Ennis, Snake River, Buffalo River, Madison River, Earthquake Lake, Henrys Lake, Hebgen Lake...list goes on and on. Highly recommend this park.

Amazing Views

We were here for 4 days. This place is beautiful, spacious, clean, and quiet. It's 5 miles in away from the main road. Amazing view of the mountains. It did rain, snow, and hail during our trip, which everyone says was not expected for this time of year but not shocking considering it's late September. We had lots of fun exploring all the way to West Yellowstone. The people who run the park are expanding so there is plenty of space. Big gravel pads but not overwhelmed with gravel. There's plenty of space between neighbors. We loved it here.

A great campground tucked away from the crowds!!

Was able to get a last-minute reservation here when the other more popular campgrounds were full. It’s 22 miles from the entrance of Yellowstone but it’s not a bad drive. Friendly staff with clean and quiet campgrounds! It has a huge playground area for the kids. Sorry no pool but Henery’s lake is within a 1/2 mile. The lake is probably not good for swimming but great for fishing. We will definitely come back here in the future!

Great view and great RV park

The location on this RV Park was great. It was off the main road so there was no noise. The trees and fields were a great backdrop. The sites were great and the facilities were very nice. Very nice staff! Great stay. Would stay again.

Peace & quiet at Redrocks

The journey out here feels like you’re approaching a special place. It’s isolated and quiet yet still so close to the action of Yellowstone NP & West Yellowstone. Every employee we encountered was so friendly and helpful. Most spaces are pull-through with full hookups and seemed mostly level. We saw all size rigs coming through. RV Life shows an unpaved road leading up to the grounds, but we approached from Rt 20 and didn’t experience any unpaved roads. We used their laundry facilities... very clean with 4 washers & 4 dryers, reasonable prices. They also have a small Shave Ice truck parked out front (hours vary) that was an added treat! Slightly small spaces if the grounds are full, you’ll be close to your neighbor if you’re in a smaller rig. Lucky for us, we didn’t have a close neighbor. The surroundings were scenic and there are lots of places to explore outside of Yellowstone. We stayed 4 nights and could have easily stayed longer. Check out Big Springs during your stay!

Very nice

Many of the RV parks were still closed in mid May.  Redrock if a nice park and they are adding more sites.  We booked and arrived late in the afternoon but we were welcomed by friendly on site managers and quickly checked in and shown to our site. Its a do-over if I'm ever back that direction.

Gorgeous views!

We found this by accident, we were headed to the state park but this place had full hookups, laundry, etc.

The ladies in the office were awesome…however the cranky old guy in the golf cart that parked us? Not so much. It was rather obvious he has a chip on his shoulder regarding women towing trailers. I was yelled at to “listen” or I wouldn’t be able to park LOL (it was a stinkin’ PULL THROUGH). I’ve navigated thousands of miles on my own and with the Sisters on the Fly and never had a camp host treat me like a total idiot. Oh and then a lecture on HOW to hook up my sewer…In his defense, it makes you wonder what kind of morons he’s run into??

If not for him, I’d give the place itself 5 stars…but he drags it down. I hope he was just having a bad day...my caravan sister that was with me in another rig got the same treatment…so..??

The campground itself is great! Beautiful views, easy in and out. Immaculate showers and laundry room. It’s quiet, so conveniently located just outside the West gate of Yellowstone right near Henry’s Lake.

There was WI-FI, but unless you were up front in the park it was weak. Back where we were put, it was unusable
