Welcome to General Coffee State Park Campground, nestled near Nicholls, GA. This place is a gem for those who appreciate a mix of nature and comfort. Open year-round, it offers a variety of accommodations including tent sites, RV spots, and cozy cabins.

One of the standout features here is the Heritage Farm. It's a hit with families and kids, offering a chance to see and interact with farm animals like chickens, sheep, and even donkeys. The farm is not just for show; it's an educational experience that brings a slice of rural life to your camping trip.

The campground is divided into two main loops. Loop one is a bit older and has a more rustic feel, while loop two is newer with paved roads and better-maintained sites. If you’re looking for a quieter experience, the equestrian campground might be your best bet, though it lacks some amenities like showers.

For those who enjoy outdoor activities, the park has plenty to offer. There are hiking and equestrian trails, a small pond for fishing, and even archery. The trails are well-maintained and provide a good workout, winding through beautiful woodland and swamp areas. The pond is small but perfect for a relaxing day of fishing or renting a kayak.

The campground also has practical amenities like electric hookups, drinking water, and sanitary dump stations. Pets are welcome, and there’s even a market on-site for those last-minute essentials like firewood and ice.

Visitors have praised the friendly and accommodating staff, who go out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. Whether you’re here for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, General Coffee State Park Campground offers a peaceful retreat with plenty to see and do.

22 Premium pull thru sites on a level, grassy field. All sites are full hook-ups with water, sewer, and electric. Sites are a full 80ft long and spacious enough to accomodate the largest rigs. We are located in a very rural part of Geogia and country quiet is one of our best amenities. We have a laundromat with Speed Queen machines on site. Verzion and AT&T cell phones and hotspots work great without buffering. We are 6mi from boating and fishing locations.
