Pioneer Creek RV Resort

Hurricane Ian damaged much of this private RV resort, but by late December 2022, about 90% of the park had reopened for guests. Pioneer Creek RV Resort accommodates RVs up to 50 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections. The resort centers around an activity building surrounded by shuffleboard courts and other recreational amenities.

Despite its proximity to Highway 27, the park maintains quiet conditions at night according to recent visitors. Cell coverage proves reliable for both AT&T and T-Mobile users. The laundry facility features eight washers and dryers, plus folding space and an ironing board. For dining, Torrey Trails RV & Golf Resort offers another full-service option nearby.

Hidden little gem

We have stay at this park twice in the last 2 years. Each time for a week. This year 90% of the park was up and running by late December when we went there. It like so many other parks in the area took quite a beating from Ian during the hurricane season. This is all the standard amenities you find a campground. All the activities like shuffleboard and such surround the activity center. Located pretty much in the center of the park. Down aways you'll find a big laundry mat, equipped with eight washes eight dryers, ironing board, TV, and even a long counter across from the machines to fold your clothes on. The park is quiet at night even though it's close to 27. Our AT&T hotspot was strong as well as our T-Mobile telephone. Another Plus is just outside of the entrance about a hundred yards is smoking Joe's probably the best pulled pork you'll have in the state of Florida. The price was very reasonable, I believe it was$270 for seven nights. Full hookup. Will be back.
