Boat-in access only makes this one of the more logistically distinct free camping spots in southwest Florida. No designated sites exist along the west bank of the Peace River between Zolfo Springs and Arcadia, so paddlers and boaters choose their own ground. Canoes and kayaks are the common mode of travel, though jon boats and airboats have been used. Cell service is available, and campfires and pets are permitted. Paddlers exploring campgrounds around Arcadia will find this stretch a worthwhile stop on a multi-day river run.
