Disappointing at best

I had high hopes for a one night stop over at this riverside retreat, but there was almost zero privacy- a must considering the lack of bathrooms. This location is in a backyard that abuts the Withlacoochee River and the owners have arranged a few RVs around a central seating and fire pit area. The RVs are rented on Airbnb, and the night I was there, a few of the Airbnb guests were very loud and walking around my SUV. I ended up leaving because of the lack of privacy coupled with the fact my car was parked directly beneath a street light since the cars are kept out by the road. I felt a truck stop would be better for my purposes at that point. I can see the obvious effort in the owners’ RV set ups, but some more care should be given to be better hosts for car and tent campers.

The owners provide kayaks and fishing poles, but they’re also shared with other guests so keep that in mind if you book for the amenities. Additionally, river access is down a pretty steep embankment which won’t be accessible for everyone.

Sorry to hear that you didnt enjoy your stay, Im a bit confused on your observation since on the description of the listing it does say pretty much everything you are mentioning that we "lack off", we are not or will be set up for a "car camp" the listing mentions we do not provide a bathroom it also points out that you will be sharing the space with RV's, further more we did offer you our tent which was set up already including the air mattress to you free of charge and you declined. Another thing to mention is that this isnt a backyard it is the lot next door to our home (big diffence) and it is also listed on the description, im not sure of any other place that will give you free use of a tent with a mattress and kayaks for $32, maybe read listing description before booking to avoid any other dissapontments, best of luck on your future endeavors.
