Very old style

Only one person, menager and hard to find when you need it! Parking on the grass. It is not safe. Located in a close distance from State Prison. No security.

Really “0” Stars

This is not a camp sight. This is the place nightmares are created. We felt unsafe all night. Please do not stay here! Cats running everywhere, People driving by the campers taking pictures of them, not maintained at all.

It's covid... but still.

Right now, nothing is open until memorial day weekend. So no beach and no pool. Also half the park is under construction, and for whatever reason (covid?) All of the bathrooms and showers are closed in the whole park. The only thing open is the laundry- but they don't have change machines or…

Very Friendly Park Staff

This is an older campground with a lot of full-time RVers. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and will do whatever they can to make you satisfied. This is a campground in the middle of the city, so don’t expect a lot of quiet, as this is how it is in a city. We spent 14 months here…

Beautiful! But....

This park is located in a beautiful area of Fort Lauderdale, however, it closes at 7pm. So make sure to get there before the front gates close!

Clue's in the title. Midway

Have waited six months into our RV life to start reviews for fair comparisons. Stayed 5 nights in 35 foot RV+tow car in 3 different sites. This was one of our least favorite stops so far. Essentially a circle of closely parked RV’s just off busy highway around a lake with gators(never saw any, but…

Good for families/groups; lots of road noise

This site was beautiful and well kept. The gentleman (park ranger?) who greeted everyone and made sure the rules were followed was very nice and answered all of our questions. I appreciated that he was around as it make me feel safer if I were to travel alone. This is a great site for families or…

Basic but Great Experience

Camp at Mile Marker 52, basic campground but great experience. This place was great to spend a night. The further you are into the campground, less road noise. The host was very friendly and helpful, checked in frequently. Make sure to book in advance for a spot. It has electric hookup only but it…

Great Campground---Great Location

Midway Campground- Ochopee, FL: We were here a few years ago and had to come back. This is a great campground in Big Cypress Wilderness Reserve at mile marker 52 on route 41 Tamiami trail. No water or sewer hookups, but there is electric at the site, fire pit, picnic table and good sized spaced out…

Florida's largest urban park, 30-minutes from downtown Miami

Hard to believe that this oasis is so close to major urban centers, but it's true. It boasts 15-miles of trails in more than 1,000 acres! You can bike, snorkel, paddle, run, picnic, rent cabins, primitive camp, and even get married. No bugs during the day. Some bike trails get flooded and are…
