Sandspur Campground — Bahia Honda State Park

Three duplex cabins (6 units) are furnished with accommodations for up to a maximum of 4 to 6 people per cabin. Each cabin is equipped with kitchen appliances, utensils and linens. The cabins have a full bath, central A/C and heat, 2 bedrooms and a living room area. The cabins are on stilts and accessible by steps only. CABIN 2 IS ADA ACCESSIBLE AND HAS A LIFT. Each cabin has a porch above and a wood deck on ground level with a picnic table and grill. The road to the cabins has a vehicle height restriction of 6' 8" (SIX FOOT, 8 INCHES). Your vehicle has to be able to go under the New Bahia Honda Bridge.

The park gates close at sunset. If you plan to arrive late please, contact the park prior to 5 p.m. on the day of your arrival.
Check in time is 3 p.m. Check out time is 1 p.m.

Pets are not allowed in any state park cabins or cabin areas.

Service animals are welcome in all areas of the park where visitors are normally allowed.

No one younger than 18 may camp overnight unless accompanied by a responsible adult, who will remain onsite for the period rented.

Beach water quality testing results indicated elevated levels of bacteria in the Atlantic ocean side of the park. It is advised there be no public swimming or water-related activities in these waters. The notice will remain in effect until bacteriological results show that the water is safe to swim again. Access to cabins and/or Bayside camping is restricted to vehicles with a height clearance of less than 6 feet 8 inches. This applies to all visitors staying in Cabin sites and sites 73-80 at the Park.
