CAMPING TRAILER USE: This area offers those with a trailer a pull-through to turn around.

FACILITIES & SERVICES: 1 Vault Toilet No Water No Trash Services, campers must pack out all trash

FIRE RESTRICTIONS: Please check with the Yampa Ranger Station to find out if there are fire restrictions 970-638-4516

There is a restroom at the campsites. There is no drinking water, trash service or other facilities.

Directions

The Trout Creek Recreation Area is located approximately 14 miles northwest of Yampa, along Trout Creek and Forest Road 925 (Rio Blanco CR 90). Directions from Yampa: 14 miles total: Go N/NW on County Road 17 approximately 5 miles to County Road 132. Turn left and go about 4 miles to FDR 925 (also known as RCR 132A and Rio Blanco CR 90). Go N/NW on FDR 925 approximately 5 miles to Trout Creek.
