Directions
From Monte Vista, Colorado. Take Highway 15 south to County Road FF (Skyline Metal) and turn right. Follow County Road FF until the road splits. Keep left on to Forest Service Road 250. Follow FS 250 for approximately 27.5 miles until the road splits. Bear right on FS 380. Continue on FS 380 for approximately 2.5 miles. You will see an unmarked road to your right. Follow the road (and signs for Schinzel Flats) for approximately 2 miles and arrive at Schinzel Flats!
