Riverwood RV Resort

Newer RV park, so everything is in great shape, and the wifi is super fast, 76 mb download, and 65 upload. The only downside is that every site does not have a picnic table, but there are two gas grills at the office/club house for everyone's use. Extremely nice small town. We will definitely stay here if in the area.

We planned to use this location as central to Mesa Verde and Durango. However we lucked out in finding the perfect stop in Mancos. The park is very clean, well run and walkable to town. We had some truck issues and they were great in letting us stay a few extra hours while we changed out our batteries. PS loved Moondog and Fenceline for food in town.

Site was very unlevel front to back. Had to put 6" under rear class A. Sewer connection to deep in concrete for connected to screw in.

Very nice park with great hosts. It's a very new, clean, and well-maintained place. The showers have great water pressure, and the clubhouse is immaculate. Highly recommend!

Close to Mesa Verde, many Native American sites with their history documented.  Horseback riding is close. OHV rental and trails near by. 

We definitely would recommend this RV Park and will return when in the area.

We arrived late at night. We called and they allowed us to stay and pay next day. Well maintained RV camp next to the town ( walking distance with restaurants). Next to the river with amazing sounds.

Walk to town-bakery restaurants and shops. National Forest access and state park nearby. Staff friendly and knowledgeable of area. Mesa Verde National Park only 9 miles away. Great loop drive over San Juan skyway with access to Durango, Silverton, Ouray , and Telluride. Cidery and brewery in town. Small grocer in town, with larger shopping in nearby Durango and Cortez. We have spent last two summers- May to October there and are scheduled to return next May again. Reasonable prices,clean park with clubhouse, bathrooms, showers and laundry. Centrally located for exploring the area. We highly recommend it

Paved road in Campground along river. Walking distance to town with cafe and bakery and frequent food trucks/bands. only 1 1/2 hours from Telluride (Don't skip a visit to Telluride for free Gandola ride up/down two sides of mountain. Super scenic hyway.

$50 per night (full hookups, gravel spots), $60 for river front. Beautiful large common space for meetings and cooking out. Grills available for use outside shower / bathroom hourse which is part of the large common space and checkin. Stayed two nights.

Had a very nice experience here. We were met in person as we pulled in and the personnel were extremely helpful in getting us settled in. The whole park was immaculate and the bathroom showers were really nice. The fall foliage made it perfect!

Main building is extremely handicap accessible, has a handicap bathroom that the shower is a low step in with bench built and shower doors (have suggested they go to a curtain since the doors are so narrow). Doesn't currently have grab bars around the toilet but owner was amenable to adding them. Barbecue area and table area is extremely accessible as well. Camping sites have loose gravel that you have to be careful about breaking the compaction up and making it so your wheelchair can't get through it.

This RV park is 6 miles from the entrance of Mesa Verde and is open before and after the other parks in the area.   It is well maintained and a very short walk to a great town, the town you wished you grew up in   We were literally standing on the corner when the mayor came up to us and asked how she could help up.   The bakery has the best food as do the other restaurants in town.  We spent a day just walking around town.
