Pike National Forest's Eleven Mile Canyon holds this walk-in campground, managed by the US Forest Service and open from late May through October 1. The walk to the sites is short and flat. Sites are spacious but not heavily screened from one another, and shaded spots like site 19 tend to book up early. Vaulted toilets are nearby. Campers exploring campsites near Lake George will find several other options along the canyon, some offering more seclusion, though those fill quickly. A trail from the campground reaches canyon viewpoints worth checking even on a day trip.
