Amazing spot in nature

By far the most serene campground we have stayed in with some amazing management that runs the place. Sites are spacious, facilities clean and restaurants has good food. The bar and Karaoke was a lot of fun on weekends and the area has plenty of hiking around. We honestly just loved sitting outside staring into nature and enjoying the river flowing through the campground. 100% will be back, though the drive to it is not for the faint of heart of you have a 45 ft toy hauler like we do - right blind turns next to steep rock. Come prepared because it will take you 3 hours to go and come back from the grocery store ;)

Quite and relaxing

We have stayed here twice, our favorite spot is 43, it is a roomy spot next to the river. Campground is very peaceful at night. There are not that many spots due to long term camping. They are close quarter rv spots, but plenty of room behind campers for campfires. Be prepared there is no phone or TV signal due to mountains. WiFi is available, but you have to go up to the store. We love this place and will make future trips there. Sites are all full hookup.

Not like photos

Reserved this last minute because we would be in the area over the weekend and were unsure on dispersed camping areas. The park itself is mostly year round/seasonal spots. The one spot that was left was next to the garbage truck and in the rocks, as well as right next to someone. Playground was super outdated. Workers were nice, but the place was not worth the money we paid. I did not see any grassy pads you are able to rent for the day/weekend like the previous photos showed.

Outstanding One-Stop Poudre Canyon Camping Experience!

Glen Echo is an exceptional one-stop Poudre Canyon camping experience.   While they do offer large and small cabins, long and short term RV spots, we tent camped for two nights on two different riverside sites - numbers 1 and 6 - and both were awesome!  Both spots offered amazing rushing water views, a nice mixture of sun and shade, picnic tables, and fire rings.  One of the spots - site 1 - had electric hook-up.  Aside from the great tent sites, they have on-site a general store/market, fuel, a liquor store and restaurant/cafe, which made life super convenient because it's located about mid-way through Poudre Canyon and there's not a lot out there.  Also, clean showers, which was a nice surprise.  Cannot recommend this chill camping destination enough!
