FSR 302 Dispersed

FR 302 cuts through Routt National Forest near Rabbit Ears Pass, and the dispersed sites along this road sit on US Forest Service land at no cost. Campers self-select their own spot along the corridor, so site quality and spacing vary depending on how far in you drive. Nearby, FR 302 Rabbit Ears Pass - dispersed camping and several other dispersed areas cluster within a half-mile, giving the road a higher concentration of overnight use than more remote forest routes. No facilities are provided. Bring water, a trowel for waste, and a fire pan if conditions allow burning.
