Great sites, rough road further in

I had to pick a site short of the posted coordinates just past where the road starts to curve away from highway 40. The road got quite bad for my small two-wheel drive SUV with a deep rut crossing the road. Looked like the site up ahead was taken anyway. I was definitely still within good view and earshot of the highway but the site was really nice with trees all around.

Minimal road noise

Stopped for the night for a quick eat and sleep. Road was wet in places. Some areas I wouldn’t pull a trailer too far in. A Mercedes van was 200 yards down from me, so not horrible. In the trees, lots of firewood available, and very pretty. No facilities. Completely dispersed. Pack in and out.
