Honeymoon Flat

Accessible year-round via rough access roads, Honeymoon Flat provides 45-foot maximum RV accommodation within Toiyabe National Forest at $30-$50 per night. The US Forest Service campground features drinking water, restrooms, and picnic tables, though individual sites lack hookups or water connections. Robinson Creek flows alongside both camping loops, creating consistent water sounds throughout the night.

Campers find clean, level tent pads and well-maintained sites in this forested setting near the eastern Sierra Nevada slope. Deer regularly move through the campground during daylight hours. The location supports fishing activities and allows campfires with available firewood. Reservations help secure spots at this drive-in campground that accommodates pets and permits alcohol.

Well maintained

Stayed one night, paved pull through site #8. Bearbox, table and fire pit. Only 11 or so sites, creek runs thru, warned about angry old bear on arrival. Hosts were nice. 15 bucks with America the beautiful pass.

Lovely campground on the eastern slope of the Sierras

This is a lovely campground on the eastern slope of the Sierras. Although it's not far from Hwy 108 and I395 it is a very quiet spot. Robinson Creek winds by both loops and makes for a restful night's sleep with it's constant burbling. The sites were very clean and the tent pads were raked level and ready for our tent. No hookups or water at the sites, although it's not far away. Deer meander through the camground throughout the day. We would definitely stay here again.
