We loved this campground!

Narrow drive and sharp turns in the campground so we didn't camp with our RV but we did tent camp. There were smaller RVs there and plenty of camper vans. The sites are spacious and in the pines. Great location in the valley. Can walk everywhere or bike everywhere in the valley. AT&T service…

Perfect View

Camped here one night. Was coming from thousand island lake heading to tuolumne meadows. Found it by accident, was in a rush to find a spot before it got dark. Place was amazing. Perfect to watch a sunset , it overlooks the valley

Comfort in the wilderness

This place is perfect for ppl that want to experience Yosemite and still have commodities. The cabins or tents provided are clean and have everything you need. Showers restrooms etc the food in the cafeteria is also good. Parking is good and easy and the location is close to many trails

Perfect spot

So far this is the nicest place ive ever camp at from all my backpacking trips. Cant beat lake with the mountain in the background, tranquillity and spacious area. Only con can be mosquitoes. Other than that this place is a must to visit

Wide open and peaceful

Up on the foothills, this expansive campground is in a nice, peaceful setting. Exposed to the elements, it was quite windy with no shade the 2 days we stayed there, except for the nice little shelters on each site. Most of the sites are by reservation only but one loop is first-come. Wonderful…

Great little spot

Pass the two normal campgrounds and there’s a ton of turn offs to camp at. We have a 30ft so it was pretty big and it was freeeeeeee

Beautiful spot just outside of Yosemite

It’s Memorial weekend and the weather is in the 70s, sun is shining through the forest trees, the birds are singing and this site is a perfect base camp for my day trips to hike in Yosemite.

Here is the correct location. You can take a dirt road from this parking lot in order to camp in the…

Correct Location Below

As previously mentioned, these coordinates are not correct, if you travel beyond the coordinates towards the South Park Entrance and pass the Springdale Campground on your left, you will see a sign shortly afterwards that says SnowPlay area 1/2 mile and that’s where you will turn onto Mount Raymond…

We will be back

Clean easy to get in sites. Water and electric sites with a dump station for when you leave. Bathrooms were very clean. Only complaint is that as a paying guest we still had to pay to dump ($5) and showers are $2/7mins. Great place for kids with playground, western town and store with ice cream…

Fallen trees

Pretty much says it in the title. Fortunately, was exploring with just the jeep for a campsite near south entrance yosemite. Would have had a really hard time getting turned around with teardrop trailer. Don't bother trying this spot. It will take many many months for the road to be cleared. Have a…

Beautiful and quite

Very beautiful place! Camping under the beautiful sequoia trees the smell of the pine cones. Need a 4x4 to get to the campground and it took us about 45min up the mountain to find the place but it was perfect once we got there. Stayed here June 2020
