The campground accommodates RVs up to 20 feet and offers both drive-in and walk-in sites scattered across upper and lower loops near the creek.

Basic amenities include pit toilets located only on the upper loop, fire rings, and picnic tables at each site. A few small bear lockers are distributed throughout the campground, though their placement may require some walking from certain sites. The forested setting keeps sites fairly separated from each other, and the creek provides water access for fishing and other activities. For campers wanting more developed facilities, Clover Meadow Campground sits just over a mile southwest.

Directions

From Fresno take Hwy 41 north to Road 200. Turn right and travel East to North Fork. Continue through North Fork to Minarets Road (Forest 81); The Clover Meadow Station is 52 miles from the Bass Lake Ranger District in North Fork. Driving time is 1 hour and 45 minutes from North Fork. Once you get to the ranger station travel approximately .5 mile turn right on road 4S60. Continue 3.1 miles to campground; 0.9 miles to lower Granite Creek.

Worth the trip

If you wanna get away and camp next to a river and down a trail and shoot your gun or go fishing you can freedom you can horseback ride if you have horses he can fish there are fish there trout it's beautiful peaceful.

Primitive, but beautiful

Granite Creek Campground is primitive. There are pit toilets, but they are located only on the upper loop, so the sites in the lower loop are quite far away, so be prepared to dig a hole. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table, but that's it for amenities. There are a few small bear lockers scattered around the campground, but again, they're far apart and aren't very convenient. All that being said, I love Granite Creek CG. It's generally quiet, the sites are fairly far apart and private. It's a great "get away from it all" campground.
