Mountain Lakes Resort - Membership Campground

      OCTOBER 2026

Site is clean, many activities on weekends They also add 1000lb or catfish and trout weekly depending on season. Members were friendly. Downside is wifi when the campsite is 75+ full and only about a dozen paved spots. Major are gravel and dirt.

      Reflection Lake RV Park

      Don't visit too expensive

Has a security guard that thought she was God or something like that. Never seen anybody or place so petty on the place and still searching for the championship horseshoe pits and I can't stop talking about the dark green of the fishing lakes and the fish swimming on their sides

      Huttopia Paradise Springs

Nice place, bring your own water

It was a nice place and the people were nice. I checked with the staff on day one if their water was potable. They confirmed everything is potable. My dog had explosive diarrhea day 1 and by the time I got home I had fever and diarrhea. It’s been a rough ride ever since. My dog and I did not share food. We only used the tap as a water source. My husband ate all of our food any only drank store bought drinks. No water. He’s fine. Just me and the dog riding it out. Don’t learn my lesson the hard way. Bring your own water and enjoy it.

      Thousand Trails Soledad Canyon

      It’s fine

Some of the campground seems very nice and some is the exact opposite. Pool is very nice and HUGE. But, there are entire sections of this campground that have just faded into non-existent. The bathrooms aren’t great. There are a lot of stationary campers(or what looks to be…) which isn’t really our favorite site to see. But, it was included with our membership and we aren’t going to leave to go pay for somewhere else.

      Antfarm LA

      Never got response to reservation

I never had the chance to stay at this site. We’re so disappointed as it seems amazing. My reservation request expired and I never heard from them.

The reviews in Hipcamp are all so positive but none are newer than Aug 2025. So I wonder if they’re just not booking anymore. Seems strange based on the effusive praise of the host. Hope they’re ok.

Wanted to leave this review so others are aware that they should have a plan B if they attempt to book this site.

This campground has good amenities, more than most and quite close to shopping and dining. They offer full rv hookups and both 30 and 50 amp sites.

      Good location, chill campground

Not very secluded, tight spaces, but very mellow campground, great staff, I really enjoyed it.
