ATV dream 😍

This is the spot for ATV riding and four wheel drive vehicles. The views are breathtaking. I remember camping here as a kid, before there was a campground.

Decent city camping

Right off the freeway - easy access to the city. We didn’t book ahead much and ended up with a site that just had rocks and a picnic table. No grass except at tent sites. Not wide enough to fully put out slider. The bathroom were great in the tent area. Nice pool and dog area.

Mostly for families with kids

The sites here are super close together so be prepared for that.

The water and electric are at the very back of very looong spaces so you May need an extension, depending on how close you want to be to your neighbor.

Wonderful!

Gosh what a nice campground. Paved walking/biking path to Lake Tahoe but you’ll want to spend all your time at fallen leaf lake. Flush toilets, drinking water, camp store, HOT coin showers. Really nice facilities, incredibly clean. Beautiful spot. Heads up though, the bear warnings are no joke- I…

Friendly clean and fantastic

Had a great stay here. It was beautiful and it was clean and the campsite was the most nicely groomed I think I’ve ever stayed at. The caretakers really do a great job here and the woman who took care of me was very friendly and helpful and got me the exact spot that I wanted next to the river.

Perfect for what it is.

Perfect for what it is which is a basic parking lot RV park. The amenities are pretty great, lovely pool, petting zoo and my favorite the fenced dog park. Oh and they have a dog wash with leash clip!!! So many parks miss the opportunity for dog friendly features. They have the cleanest…

Peaceful, welcoming getaway

I loved my time here. Lovely setting, friendly people, and large sites. I really appreciate that there are no motorized craft on the lake, so it’s a great place to swim or kayak. I’ll be coming back for sure.

Great with a catch

When you’re here it’s a great campground. We’re in an okay spot, small and angled funky but still it’s a wonderful place. I love the arcade and ice cream parlor and they sell ice. Everyone is kind and accommodating. The only catch is that your first visit you sit through a 1.5 hour long…

Love the group site

I have only stayed at the group site and we love this campground. Wonderful beach access. The group site has a lot of privacy from other sites and plenty of space. They have the water off right now for bathrooms and showers but portopotties were cleaned every other day. Drinking water is available.…

Beautiful place

Beautiful trees and weather but the sites are a tight squeeze. If you get a site big enough to open up your slide outs then you are Lucky! They have a store on site. Shopping and the lake is a short drive away….We joined Thousand Trails at this campground. We really enjoyed joining with Rosita and…

Quiet, Creek Side Camping

🌲 Do your part and keep this campground clean & quiet!

My partner and I camped here on a Sunday night. We arrived mid-day, and asked the camp host (Adam) if they had any spots available. He was happy we stopped by and gave use a creek side spot with parking. A site is $28 per night and they…

Great smaller campground

Campsites all have parking pad and area for your tent. Picnic table and campfire ring too! Flush toilets are cleaned regularly and showers take Tokens. Trails are easy, museum is filled with great local indian history. Wild turkey's roam free every morning!
