Yolo County Fair RV Park

County-operated Yolo County Fair RV Park sits within the fairgrounds in Woodland, providing a straightforward overnight option with full hookups for rigs up to 70 feet. The gravel camping area offers ample space and easy access from Interstate 5, making it a practical stop for travelers passing through California's Central Valley.

Campers find a no-frills setup with 50-amp electrical service, water, and sewer connections at each site. The facility operates with drop-off payment boxes, allowing arrivals without staff interaction. Online registration streamlines the check-in process, though reviewers consistently note that WiFi service remains unreliable despite posted passwords. Cell coverage varies across the property.

The location draws both overnight travelers and some longer-term residents, with rates starting around $35 per night. "Everything you need! Gravel area with plenty of availability and space," notes one camper about the basic but functional accommodations. The fairgrounds setting means the area can feel institutional rather than recreational.

For those seeking more traditional campground amenities, Boat Yard RV Park offers an alternative with additional facilities about ten miles north.

A basic overnight RV park offering good value at $35/night with easy I-5 access and online registration. Limited amenities and sketchy surroundings noted, but adequate for short stays.

Cheap, but with a Touch of Skank.

Cheap and convenient. The area is kind of sketchy, but it worked for one night and we didn't have any trouble. Looks like there's a lot of people there who are overstaying the allowed number of days.

Good for the money

This place is in a great location with easy access from I 5. Plenty of room and easy on-line registration. My only complaint is the non-existent WiFi. The password was easy to obtain, but did me no good.

Basic RV Park

Everything you need! Gravel area with plenty of availability and space in the Yolo Country Fairgrounds.

$35 per night. $15 for dump. They even have $200 RV rentals. Drop off boxes, so no need to interact with people if you don’t want to. Nice, average spot in Woodland.
