When you think Napa Valley, you think of wine, not camping. But you can plan a wine vacation from behind the flap of your tent. Set up in one of the valley’s campgrounds then visit the many casual tasting rooms that won't mind dirt under your fingernails.  When you tire of drinking wine, hike Mt. St Helena, a dormant volcano. Or walk through the Petrified Forest, a forest that was turned to stone by the last eruption of the volcano. Or visit California’s Old Faithful, a nearby geyser.


Once you have found camping in California’s Half Dome in Yosemite Valley, center yourself in Tuolumne Meadows, a more remote section of the park with its own collection of charming granite domes. Here's a secret: Instead of joining the crowds of day hikers on the meadow's most popular trails, follow the backpackers north on the famed John Muir Trail. The trail meanders through meadows, along a river below alpine peaks. And best of all, the first 8 miles of this trail out of Tuolumne are flat. Hike until you find a spot to watch the marmots, then return to your campsite. For more, backpack another 23 miles to Reds Meadow where you can catch a shuttle back up to Tuolumne.

We are a small privately owned small campground (19 sites only) located on the outskirts of Placerville. The property features 86.5 secluded Tahoe like acres with beautiful year-round Weber Creek. The camp sites are placed along the creek or the bluff overlooking the creek. We have traditional dirt camping, canvas tents on platforms, teepees and glamping tents for those that want the comforts of home. We are tent camping only with only one site that allows a small travel trailer or van. (#14) . We are dog friendly and allow dogs in all but 5 glamping sites. We do enforce camp rules especially our quiet time between 10 PM and 7 AM (please review).



We’ve been told that we have a “family camp” vibe. We are a great place for families wanting a safe environment for their kids but also several group sites for those that want to hang out together with multiple families. We are also a great base site for those wilderness enthusiasts with access to all the El Dorado National Forest including Desolation but want a hot shower at the end of the day.



We have a lodge that is stocked with games and a ping pong table. The lodge has a microwave, Keurig machine and a hot water kettle for those hot drinks (BYO Cups).We have several tables set up for those that want to eat inside as well as multiple picnic tables along the side of the lodge with overhead protection. We have electricity at the at the lodge for small appliances and charging phones. We have a compressor on site to blow up your air mattresses or float toys. We’ve been told that our bathrooms are the “cleanest” ever and have changing tables and diaper pails. We offer nice flushing toilets and hot showers!



For outdoor activities we have basketball, volleyball, pickleball and cornhole not to mention the playground with swing sets, seesaw and tractor play. We have hiking trails throughout the property. Our highlight is a camp fire bowl with bench seating with a stage to display camper talent which is perfect for the evening fire and roasting s’mores (bring the fixings).



The creek starts out in spring looking like a rushing river featuring many fishing and swimming holes. As the summer progresses the water level falls but is still great for water play and fishing.



We have propane BBQs (we provide the propane for BBQs) located throughout the property. We also have a propane grill and charcoal BBQ located in the common area for all to use. There is a dutch oven pit also in the fire bowl area.



We do not allow wood fires at the individual sites but each site has a propane firepit for ambiance (not cooking) that requires you to purchase a 20 lb. propane cannister on site (add in extras) or pay cash on site.



We require a 3 night minimum for the major holidays - Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day. We do not do checkins on Sunday but do allow camping over Sunday night. We do exclusive events so you may need to explore multiple weekends to find the right reservation.



We are located in the foothills so we are a short hop to many local attractions that include river rafting, gold mines, wineries and historical towns with great eating establishments. Tahoe is less than an hour away and there a many hiking trails within 20-30 minutes.



We have a limited number of items to rent i.e, tents, cots, camp stoves, etc. We also have a small store on site for those items you forgot and a good selection of ice cream. We take venmo or cash.



CHECKIN IS BETWEEN 4 AND 8. IF YOU ARE COMING FROM THE BAY ALLOW 4 HOURS - YOU MUST LEAVE BY 3:00 IN ORDER TO ARRIVE DURING CHECKIN. IF YOU GET DELAYED, FOR THE CONSIDERAITON OF THE OTHER CAMPERS YOU MAY CONSIDER WAITING AND ARRIVING THE NEXT MORNING. THERE ARE NO CHECKINS AFTER 9:00.



Camp Nauvoo

We have 155 acres of the beautiful Sierra foothills ready to be explored and enjoyed! We are about 10-15 minutes from downtown Murphys, just north of Fullen Rd. This is a working farm for our business, Blooms and Shrooms. We grow produce, mushrooms and cut flowers.

There are 2 different listings to choose from: The Soup Kitchen and 1 Pine. Please double check you’re picking the right listing because they are different areas and offer different experiences. The 1st area to park/camp is the “Soup Kitchen” near the flower garden where you can enjoy an outdoor shower, kitchen space and established fire pit (see pics of the Soup Kitchen). This area is down the driveway a couple hundred yards from where we usually are area so you can more or less be on your own, depending on if we have work to do down there or if there are other campers. We are happy to chat or leave you be, just let us know what your needs are. We do tend to be social and as an intention I would like to say that I would hope the people coming here are open and friendly and it would be cool if this was a place where campers could meet each other and maybe some new friendships could be made. If you’re looking for a more isolated spot, see the other listing for 1 Pine. “1 Pine” is accessed by our second driveway that is just down the road a hundred yards from the farm. The driveway is kind of rough but definitely manageable with a truck or SUV. The drive goes up a couple hundred yards to the hilltop (we call it “1 Pine” where there is some open space to park and there’s a trail that branches off that takes you along the ridge to another open space (2 Pines) that is only a few minutes walk down the trail. 2 Pine has great views of the sunset and is totally secluded and private and would be a good spot to either bring some friends for a little sunset party or for someone who wants to seriously unplug and chill on the ridge top.



Mighty Farms

Beautiful peak of canyon 20acre glamping ground in the heart of mokelumne hill. All day look down on red tail hawks soring the skies and all night watch shooting stars from your hot tub. This site is for adults 21 and older each room comes with a complementary bottle of one of our local wines. This canyon site has a hot tub under the stars all stainless steel outdoor kitchen and outdoor hot shower but best of all the view❤️

The space

This glampsite is in the middle of historical mokelumne hill. Here you can look off the canyon peak and see with your own eyes the water ways the miners used during the gold rush. It's a five minute drive to downtown mokelumne hill and 15 minute drive to downtown Jackson witch are both a antique shopper/collectors dream.

Guest access

Guests on rich gulch glamp site have access to approximately two acres of complete privacy on a cleared, rocked plateau with no immediate neighbors. All glamping sites are private unshared spaces with other glampers.

To all my fellow glampers our goal at rich gulch is to create awesome memories with friends,family and fur babies, please remember this campsite is 21 and older we love kids but there are no exceptions. We have a campsite host on site at all times for emergencies and not to worry your cell phone reception will be excellent for all your cute social media posts☺️

There's also a great golf course, Castle Oaks Golf Club, 7 miles away. We've got lots to explore that you'll want to take more than one trip. If you're looking for a more relaxed stay, we got you covered too. 

Our property is perfect to hike and sightsee; California Oaks line the hills for miles and miles.  The evenings are cool and tranquil, the only thing you'll see at night is the trees and the stars. Words can't describe it; you'll just have to experience it yourself. This place is special to us, on our 160-acre property you'll find gently rolling hills inhabited by free-range livestock and horses. We hope you enjoy your stay. Tentrr Signature Site - Rancho Amador Site 3

MAGICAL!!! Camp under the stars in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. (Motorhomes/Trailers/Truck Campers/RV's - DO NOT BOOK UNTIL YOU HAVE READ THE PARAGRAPH BELOW. Not all sites can accommodate RVs.) This 50-acre family-owned property is located in the heart of Apple Hill. There are two streams that run through it, with a hill that separates them. It is a working Christmas tree farm that was started in the 1960s and now has many trees that are too big to fit in anyone's home but provide an unbelievable canopy for some of our campsites. Half the property is covered in a pine forest (with some secluded campsites) with the balance being Christmas trees, Manzanita brush, Madrone trees, and open areas (for larger group campers). There are trails throughout the property for visitors to enjoy. There is an Apple Farm across the street that makes the best donuts in Apple Hill! Less than a mile away is a farm brewery and there are wineries throughout the area. There is also a large lake nearby that is a favorite for local kayak and canoe enthusiasts (and some who enjoy fishing) since most non-locals don't know it exists.

Campsites 1 - 14 are centrally located at the top of the hill, sites 15 - 25 are more remote (& quieter) but are also farther from the bathrooms & potable water supplies. (Site 25 is in a tight forest where slender pine trees rub against each other; if there's any wind, they make sounds akin to wooden ships rubbing up against the docks in a harbor. NOTE: The site numbering has changed for 2020 as we have added 5 more sites. Therefore, a site you stayed in previously may now have a different number and past comments regarding these specific sites may no longer be accurate and could refer to a different site. Please ask me if you have any questions.) If you are traveling in a group, we suggest getting two sites next to each other rather than trying to squeeze everyone into a single site - it's actually less expensive to rent two sites with 5 people each rather than putting 10 people into a single site. Site pairs that work well together are 1&2, 4&6, 3&5, and 9&12, (We also have areas specifically for larger groups.)

Motorhomes/Trailers/Truck Campers/RVs - Please note, that there are currently only a few campsites that can accommodate these vehicles: sites 3, 4, 8, 10, 16, and 18. If your RV is longer than 34 feet, please let me know so that we can make sure that we can get you to fit. Please note, that there are NO HOOKUPS. However, potable water is accessible when you arrive - please bring a long hose to make filling easier. (If you have a group of RVs and are looking to all camp together, please check out our Group Site listing - site #1.) Please also note that our roadway is gravel and includes a small hill you must climb. Please do NOT bring a trailer if you are towing with a front-wheel-drive vehicle. Also, if your trailer is pushing the weight limit of your tow vehicle, please have a 4-wheel drive vehicle. (If you have any questions, please message me.) NO MORE THAN ONE RV PER SITE.

Please include all individuals in your booking headcount including all children over the age of 1 year old.

CAMPFIRE NOTE: When wood-burning fires are safe (spring & late fall) fire pits with a grill & mesh cover are provided at every site. All fires must be contained in the fire pit. Open (or uncovered) campfires (on the ground) are prohibited. CAMPFIRES ARE ONLY ALLOWED IN THE COVERED FIRE PITS. Please keep the fire pit covered when in use and always fully extinguish your fire when you leave the campsite. You may collect dead wood to burn from the property, but please bring a handsaw to cut up pieces so they will fit into the fire pit.

Madrone Tree Hill

Camp Nauvoo was originally bought by the LDS church in the 1960's for a girl's camp. The camp was owned by the Boy Scouts from 2011-2015. The Rose family bought the property in 2016 with the intent to continue the tradition of tent camping as well as creating opportunities for exclusive events i.e., group/family reunions, weddings and corporate events.

We are a small privately owned small campground (19 sites only) located on the outskirts of Placerville. The property features 86.5 secluded Tahoe like acres with beautiful year-round Weber Creek. The camp sites are placed along the creek or the bluff overlooking the creek. We have traditional dirt camping, canvas tents on platforms, teepees and glamping tents for those that want the comforts of home. We are tent camping only with only one site that allows a small travel trailer or van. (#14) . We are dog friendly and allow dogs in all but 5 glamping sites. We do enforce camp rules especially our quiet time between 10 PM and 7 AM (please review).



We’ve been told that we have a “family camp” vibe. We are a great place for families wanting a safe environment for their kids but also several group sites for those that want to hang out together with multiple families. We are also a great base site for those wilderness enthusiasts with access to all the El Dorado National Forest including Desolation but want a hot shower at the end of the day.



We have a lodge that is stocked with games and a ping pong table. The lodge has a microwave, Keurig machine and a hot water kettle for those hot drinks (BYO Cups).We have several tables set up for those that want to eat inside as well as multiple picnic tables along the side of the lodge with overhead protection. We have electricity at the at the lodge for small appliances and charging phones. We have a compressor on site to blow up your air mattresses or float toys. We’ve been told that our bathrooms are the “cleanest” ever and have changing tables and diaper pails. We offer nice flushing toilets and hot showers!



For outdoor activities we have basketball, volleyball, pickleball and cornhole not to mention the playground with swing sets, seesaw and tractor play. We have hiking trails throughout the property. Our highlight is a camp fire bowl with bench seating with a stage to display camper talent which is perfect for the evening fire and roasting s’mores (bring the fixings).



The creek starts out in spring looking like a rushing river featuring many fishing and swimming holes. As the summer progresses the water level falls but is still great for water play and fishing.



We have propane BBQs (we provide the propane for BBQs) located throughout the property. We also have a propane grill and charcoal BBQ located in the common area for all to use. There is a dutch oven pit also in the fire bowl area.



We do not allow wood fires at the individual sites but each site has a propane firepit for ambiance (not cooking) that requires you to purchase a 20 lb. propane cannister on site (add in extras) or pay cash on site.



We require a 3 night minimum for the major holidays - Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day. We do not do checkins on Sunday but do allow camping over Sunday night. We do exclusive events so you may need to explore multiple weekends to find the right reservation.



We are located in the foothills so we are a short hop to many local attractions that include river rafting, gold mines, wineries and historical towns with great eating establishments. Tahoe is less than an hour away and there a many hiking trails within 20-30 minutes.



We have a limited number of items to rent i.e, tents, cots, camp stoves, etc. We also have a small store on site for those items you forgot and a good selection of ice cream. We take venmo or cash.
