Bass Lake at Yosemite RV Resort

Had no reservation but was able to get a spot for my 22-ft Tacoma with electric, water and sewage. Problem was my sewer pointed sideways, instead of straight up which made emptying my camping toilet too daunting to even attempt. The spigot for the water was about 3 in off the ground so I had to by spend $25 on a garden hose in the store. Just so I could fill up a 5 gallon jug with water. Plenty of shade from what I could see, but being a Friday don't expect any peace and quiet until night time. $75 for the night. The parking spaces weren't clearly marked and I accidentally parked blocking someone else's spot and had to move. The spaces should be very clearly marked and they aren't, at least not where I was. Meh.

We are in spot 116 a bit unlevel but we managed. Check in was quick and easy. Hook ups were easy. Kinda tight we are a Odessey 26D with a jeep gladiator. Verizon is three bars and WiFi works great

Has a pool, game room very run down, bathrooms and showers decent, sites a bit to close together for our liking but being close to the lake and Yosemite was a bonus.

We booked this last minute over the phone, we were very impressed with the spot, next to the pool, clubhouse, fire pit. I do see that other spots are more crowded but overall the property is gorgeous and its a great fun family friendly place. We walked to pines village and got some souvenirs and ice cream. Great weather too. The river is also right in front of where we parked but it did not have much water.

This place was awesome. Only a 15 min hike to the lake and a 30 min drive into Yosemite. We spent the weekend in site 126 it was a level site with limited shade and full hookups. Bingo night was awesome and the staff was very friendly. Would highly recommend

Loved the resort will be back again in a Month

At approximately 3500 ft elevation. Cool summer nights near Bass Lake Recreational area so fishing and boating are a main attraction. Park is tight for big rigs, but can fit if careful. Pads are gravel and almost level. FHU’s with good water pressure. Park has a breakfast cafe that is open on weekends. This was previously a member’s only resort so lots of regulars here. Very family oriented place. Some small shops nearby, but nearest sizable grocery market is about 8 miles away. AT&T service is poor and WiFi is sketchy except in the clubhouse and office areas.

We didn’t know that the “20 miles from Yosemite” just meant the entrance, we still had to drive about 30 miles to get into the valley. The site we pulled into was really tight with a hill and drop off on either side so our picnic table had to be in front of the airstream. You are right next to the resort where there are restaurants but, not really any beach access and there aren’t wide walks around the lake. The facilities were nice and we had good wifi service but, I would recommend staying closer to Yosemite if you’re hiking.

Fairly big campground, with some spots having a good amount of privacy in a forest. Our site (#162) was large enough, although not very level. The sewer connection was almost level with our dump pipe, so it made dumping a challenge. The "Downtown" area, which is the center of the campground, has spots for members only, but they're very close together. Maybe good for group get-togethers where you are 10' from your neighbor. Amenities include a pool, day room with tons of things to do, a separate day room for kids, a large fire pit, showers, store at the office, horseshoe and 2 shuffleboard courts. While we were there, they played movies at sunset next to the pool. Close to Yosemite, the Sugarpine railroad and a decent-sized town. Temps were in the 80's. Overall a very nicely maintained place to stay. Staff seemed a bit aloof, but maybe they were all just busy. It's a large place. We actually loved the interaction with the staff at 49er RV Park, which was a lot smaller.

Beautiful at bass lake

So many sites to camp at but books up well in advance. Sites were fairly clean where we stayed but a trek to the water. The water itself was pretty gross and tons of geese everywhere.
