Toad Suck

I had heard that the COE campgrounds are very well maintained and that is true. Our pad was very level and offered a nice view of the River. Easy to get to and very smooth check in. The Camp Host was very friendly and courteous. The pad was super clean and offered ample space for our 25 foot trailer and truck. We felt safe and it was quiet. Power and water worked perfectly for us. Did not use the bath house, but we saw it being cleaned and it seemed well placed and convenient. We took a little stroll in the morning to check out the boat ramp and get a good look at the bridge and the spillway and locks. Had an issue in our RV and needed some screws, luckily Ace Hardware just down the road!

Great little campground. Decently maintained. Most of the sites have concrete pads big enough for a couple tents. Solid concrete picnic table with a roof over it was nice. Parking was not very level but our 38ft schoolie fit fine with enough room for our car.

Small clean campground. Some spots are very private Some not so much. Spots are large. Great views of lock. Multiple playgrounds and pavilions. Basketball, volleyball and store across the street.

This park and campground is less than an hour outside of Little Rock, and it is a quiet, peaceful overnight stay on our way to Oklahoma. It was a bit tricky to find after exciting US 60!

The park was well maintained and the staff was very friendly. Our site was at the end of Loop D, far enough away from the noise of the highway, but it backed up to 2 drainage pipes, not the best view from our back window. It is level and surrounded by tall trees for plenty of shade. There is a concrete pad for a tent next to the metal picnic table.

There are two bathouses, each with one woman's and one man's individual bathrooms with a toilet, sink, and shower. The bathhouses are located quite a distance from Loop D. The one I checked out was modern and clean.

This is a very nice park to visit for a day or two.

Brand new site. Lots of shade, easy back-in, and perfectly level. Great view of the river. Plenty of area for the kids to play. Nice playgrounds. Clean restrooms. We will definitely be back!

Clean and quiet next to the river.

definitely never stayed at a place with a bridge above us. campground was well kept, hosts were friendly, bathrooms were well kept (although no soap). had big patios to sit and enjoy. sites are kinda close to one another, so backing in with an rv is a little challenging. also had a gas station near the exit, which was nice to fill up before heading out. would recommend :)

Just outside the city and over the bridge sits these nicely maintained sites next to the river to unwind. Peaceful.

Toad Suck is a great campground- with some caveats. All of the sites are reservable and have concrete pads. This makes it impossible to stake down a tent but also provides a great level spot. There's no foragable wood at the sites, but there's a quick stop type gas station very nearby that sells it cheap and locally sourced. The bathrooms can be a trek from your site or right next door, depending on where you're staying, but theyre immaculately clean. They service them twice daily. It's right next to the lock and dam at Toad Suck on the Arkansas River so there's a constant roar of water and the sound of barges throughout the night and day. I don't mind it but keep that in mind if you don't like those sounds. The campsite is peaceful otherwise. Dogs are allowed! ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL.

This is our second stop at Toad Suck Park and we enjoy the off season quiet beauty of the Arkansas River. Very clean and staff is very kind and friendly.

Our first trip in our new RV was close to home as we tested the RV systems. We spent a wonderful overnight near the Toad Suck Dam and it was clean, quiet and very calm. The staff is very friendly and the park secure. Good hookups and level paved sites. We will be returning often.

It is beautiful back here, quiet. Easy setup area. No problems at all.

Edit: one thing I did miss. We had our little dog with us. We had to be a bit careful where we walked her as some areas had small stickers in the grass. Not a big deal but you'll want to be careful.

It was a nice, quiet campground. Right on the river. Not a lot of tree cover though. We just camped there to get some sleep on a road trip but we’re really pleased with it.

Just outside Conway, AR. Easy access to sites, very clean park. Plenty green areas to throw frisbee or just play with pets.

Recently reopened after flooding. Nice new spots. Clean.

Stayed here In March, no bugs. Very quiet and clean, they just planted new grass and cleaned up the entire park, three loops with plentiful space to walk. Loop A seems for smaller campers, and very unlevel. Loop C seems a bit more spaced out. There are actually two entrances to the park, recommend the second one as it has less sharp curves. The bridge is high enough for rigs to go under of choosing the first entrance. Overall very nice and would come again.

On the bank of the Arkansas River, great access to water. Good boat ramp, picnic tables and RV sites. Very clean, bring your mosquito repellent.

Toad Suck is temporarily closed. June 2019 flood deviated it and looks to remain closed thru 2020.

We have stayed at here several times.    The kids enjoy the playgrounds x 3, walking, plenty of open space, and watching the barges coming down the river.   Area real close to town.  Not much to hike.  Sites are roomy.   Bathroom is always clean.  Camp host pleasant.

This campground is right on the river! Water flows by very fast. No swimming. Lots of fishing. Sites are clean but a little close. Lots of shade. Would recommend to those who love to fish.

It was a nice campground but nothing special. There weren't many people when we were there so it was nice but those who there were very noisy. There was a group of young adults that took about 4 campsites and played Jason Derulo music late into the night. Otherwise it wasn't a terrible experience and would return if it isn't as loud as last time.
