beautiful

It is a very well maintained park and absolutely beautiful. There is a playground by the Pavillion and the bathhouse. The bathhouse has 6, individual shower and toilet rooms. Completely private with nice warm water. There is a boat dock and as I write this review, I have never seen so many fish jumping out of the water! There are a couple of drawbacks. First, our site, C3, has electricity only. There is a water hook up across the road but it is more than 75 feet away and you run the risk of your hoses being damaged as traffic runs over them. Secondly, there are train tracks not far away at all. The train comes through about every hour and a half and can be loud at times. Other than that, the beauty makes up for it. Also, once you enter, there is a kiosk for self pay.

beautiful

The campground is absolutely beautiful. As I'm writing this review, I've never seen so many fish jumping in the water! It's gorgeous. A couple of drawbacks: this site C3, has electricity only. The water hookup for this site (perhaps) is across the road which could damage hoses with traffic running over them. As a matter of fact, it is more than 75 feet away. We didn't have enough hose. Secondly, there are train tracks pretty darn close. While you can't hear the interstate traffic, the train comes through about every hour and a half. There's a nice playground and pavilion located by the bathhouse. The bathrooms are very nice. There are 6 unisex bath and shower rooms. The privacy was very welcomed. The park is very well maintained. There is a kiosk to pay for sites once you get into the park. Overall, a nice park. Just be aware that not every site has water hookup.

Small, convenient, most sites on the water

This is a tiny COE Campground just outside Clarksville, AR. You need to read the entire description of YOUR site before you book! Also, a train track —complete with random trains passing — runs parallel to the campground road. But wait! Don’t let that scare you off. We’ve been here 10 days so far & have enjoyed hearing the trains. Sites are mostly well-spaced, some more shaded than others, and yes, SOME of the sites don’t have water hook-ups. But the view is so beautiful, use your jerry can —there is plenty of shared water access — to fill your tank. Restrooms are clean & hosts are friendly. The Wal-Mart is about 5 minutes away & you can use your app for socially distanced pick-up. WiFi via cell service & our Verizon phones worked well enough, not great. The views are extraordinary, just stay back from the drop-offs bordering Lake Dardanelle! We saw lots of people fishing & enjoyed the sunsets from our site. We’d stay here again.

Quiet

Just outside of town, along river but only access is at boat landing, this is army corp of engineers park, dump, bathrooms, showers, electric and some access to water, people were running very long hoses to their sites each site did NOT have its own.

Spadra is a pretty spot on Lake Dardanelle

Spadra Campground is run by the Corps of Engineers so as expected it is pretty well maintained. The showers and bathrooms are clean. The campsites have plenty of space between them with plenty of pretty lake views from most of the sites.

The only thing you should be worried about if you have small children is the railroad tracks near the campground. There is an access road that separates the sites from the tracks, but keep a close eye on your children if they are the kind who like to suddenly run off or disappear while exploring.

This is a great campground if you have a boat. There is a boat ramp with access to the lake and nice places to rest on shore.
