Recreational options like yard games and scenic surroundings enhance its appeal for families and solo adventurers alike. this RV park is in its early stages also the bathrooms are the cleanest that i have seen in a campground/ RV park they clean them daily. in the winter they have complementary hot chocolate and a 15 ft Christmas tree!!! 100% would recommend
This is a Good Sam Campground,
Pros: Full hookup (sewer, water, 50 AMP) Concrete, level pads Overlooks the Arkansas River Large Pavilion Gated RV park Easy access to downtown Little Rock AR
Cons: Limited amenities No picnic table or fire pit on site
Staff is friendly. Campground is next to the freeway. You get a lot of road noise. All of the cabins are over grown. Sites are easy access but tight, not much room between rigs if both rigs have slides. There is a lot of long term guess. Not what I would expect from any KOA. You may not feel safe at this park if you a traveling alone.
Camp ground had a lot of long term campers. Pool was closed and high traffic noise. Bathrooms were clean but out dated.
6 full hook up sites, pull thru 50 amp. Sites are close together but I am the only one here.
This is an older private campground that is very well maintained right on the river. Peaceful tranquil setting with owners/operators on site that are very friendly. Bath houses are private and immaculate. RV sites are full hook up 50 amp. RV sites are spacious and nightly rate is a great value. Highly recommend
Full hook ups. Very clean and tidy. They have pull thru and back up sites but it's first come first serve with no reservations. I would recommend.
"Woolly Hollow State Park" is a hidden Gem !!! The drive on the Back Country 2 lane road drive is off Route 65,,, get's your excitement up wondering what to expect... There are no city light's to spoil the night's Starlite Sky.. And all you hear at quiet time are Mother Nature's soothing Sound's... It has Paved Road's,,, Concrete Pad's,,, Full Hookup's and a Lake to Fish or Swim in... The RV Site's are individualized almost no duplicate's... You are not sitting on top of each other's site... You have your own space to spread out... In our opinion all RV Park's should be setup like "Wooly Hollow State Park" !!! And if you just want to have a Good Ol' Family Picnic there are plenty of picnic area's with table's,,, some are covered... We give it """ 10 Star's """ !!!
On the Arkansas River, it’s a clean and beautiful park. Rv spots on all on the rivers edge. Plenty of room. Price for rv camping was very good.
This really is a very nice place to camp! It is well maintained and operated and is in a great location being near Little Rock. Caters well to the big RV'ers. Well shaded and several sites right near the water's edge. Though it doesn't affect the rating in my book, I would mention I experienced there were many seeming to stay long term and a couple asked when I'd be leaving so they could 'claim' my riverfront spot. No biggie I guess but it might make it harder for some to just show up and find the prime spots available. Overall still a great camp!
Great location, walkable to downtown. Good WiFi, great reception. All facilities like bathrooms and laundry are completely closed due to covid so make sure your tanks are empty, propane full, and clothes clean. Overall, we both thought this was a great and unique “campground” with full hook ups and a great price. It was nice to be parked in a place that didn’t require driving to explore.
Gold Creek Landing RV Park Area Code is located in Arkansas
It's only minutes from Searcy and is extremely peaceful and serene! We highly recommend Whitney Lane RV Park!
The location is truly excellent with easy access to the Arkansas River Trail, the Clinton library, restaurants and other attractions. Although, there is construction along the river front and around the RV park. There’s really no atmosphere, so stay here if you want great access to Little Rock!
Right on the river, this city owned rv park is close to everything. And you can walk across the bridge to the Clinton Library.
Large sites, Not piled in on each other like RV parks. it’s a clean campground outside the city, can’t beat it for the price. Waterfront. Covered picnic benches. 50amp + water.
Nice clean, small RV park at Highway 67/167 and CW Road in Judsonia, one exit north of the Searcy Race Street exit. 30 spaces total with 3 pull through sites. No internet or laundry on-site but the electrical set up is good. Water and sewer are in good locations but the water connection box was holding water during our stay. Daily, weekly, or monthly rates available. My Verizon LTE hotspot averaged between 5 and 10 Mbps down and 0.8 to 1.6 up. My Verizon 5g phone averaged 75 to 85 Mbps down and 28 to 35 Mbps up. One of my neighbors was on a T-mobile 5g hotspot and was consistently over 50 Mbps download.
At first entrance it appears as if you are entering a large parking lot. There is a large pavilion to picnic and pet area by the water. Each site requires a 50 amp but the office will offer one for purchase if you need a 50 to 30 amp connections. The center lot is for pull through sites the other site areas non-pull through by water and fence. The fence area is close to the bridge but could be limited with views since it is far away from the water and Class A frequent area.
Two things I love:
Great location! It's basically a parking lot with full hookups but it's right on the river with a cool pedestrian bridge. We'd stay here again.
It’s a well maintained park. Lots of varied camper/ tv spots. All have electricity and a handful have water too. The pads are hard packed with a picnic table chained down on it. Our tent was too big for the pad and we couldn’t move the picnic table far enough away to set up on the pad. Great for rvs. Out house needed cleaning bad. And the bathhouse had some holes in floor and other structural damage.
This was a nice facility, not for RVs than tent camping. Great play ground but quite a walk for bathroom facilities if tent camping.
We stayed September the 2022. Electric & water only. Dump site about half mile away, with dumpsters for trash. The cons or negative was: 1) only one bath house and it was atrocious dirty. 2) the simple restroom near our site was filthy also. 3) our fire pit, the people before us left trash. 4) Our site had the back of our trailer over looking the lake. That was okay, we just set up our chairs behind the trailer for an enjoyable view. But the truck was at such a angle because the sites are level but on a steep slope. Hence, my angle had me backing down hill. Once my trailer was on level site, my truck was at an angle, I could not get my weight distribution bars off. T9 much force. I had to pull out , remove bars and back back in. You better have extra chuck blocks, because your tow vehicle sits on a heck of an angle, at my site. While it is basically shaded and i liked the quiet, for we were the only people there the weekend after labor day, only a car camper lady and her 3 kids were next to us. You do have to drive to get anything. So pros/positives: 1) the view! 2) check in lady at liquor store ultra nice. 3) workers at Marina Ultra nice. 3) Gym people ultra nice, they let us shower at the gym, 4) Everyone in Arkansas was very nice actually. The land of nice people. But the clean up guy in the small pickup truck, does not really clean. He just kind of wanders through the area most mornings.
Very pretty and well shaded. Boat launches are easy access. No store So come prepared. This is a very popular spot for RV camping. Roughly 100+ sites in 3 loops.
Most of the sites here are great. The G loop is right by the water. Some of the sites were underwater while we were there, but G2 was perfect.
The site had everything we wanted. Trees for our hammock, large level site, near the water for our kayak, and great views of the lake. There is no electricity at these sites. You will need to bring water. The bathrooms are a short distance away.
You can’t beat this location on Greer’s Ferry.
Jacksonport has grown since we tent camped here years ago. Great new Visitors Center, still love the museum (it is closed right now because of COVID), the beach is pretty, but we miss the old Paddlewheel. Nice level sites and shaded.
This was our second trip to Woolly Hollow. The first time was in April, and the trails and waterfalls were better maintained and more beautiful in April. We still enjoyed our trip though. They have great trails for hiking and mountain biking. There is a nice swimming area with a shop to order drinks/snacks. The park rangers and staff were super friendly and helpful. The bathroom facilities were clean. Although we stayed in the RV camp area, the tent camping area had some great sites, some right on the water.
