Total hookups close to I40

Gary. Met me as I arrived in the park, guided me to my spot and even helped connect the water while I hooked up electric and waste. Stayed 2 nights , lucky that my Tmobile hotspot allowed me to work, stream, Zoom on my rest day.

Traveling across country on I-40, found this camp ground on the DYRT app. Close to Interstate, Love’s station at exit. There is no facility for tents; this RV/Trailers only because no facilities. Has full hookup 50/30Amp, water and sewer . Gravel pads and well maintained

Great place to stay

Its quiet, safe, and Gary is so nice. It's in the country and close to 40 but you don't get the traffic noise.

Easy site for an overnight stop

Although we were towing while having to stop here, Gary made it worth it to have to disconnect for the night. He answered a late night phone call, knew exactly where we were when trying to look for a spot for the night, sent us directions and met us at our spot to get us all set up. There are only a few pull through spots and the rest back in. It was a perfect little spot close enough to the highway but far enough not to even see it. Overall a very nice spot for an overnight stay.

Great Stay

Only $10 for no hookups and a whole plot to myself, no complaints.

We really liked it!

An overnight stop on our route. Gary was great, most helpful and it was a pleasure talking with him. This is a rather small campsite and I recommend advanced reservations. Two pull through sites that do not have sewer hookups but there is a dump station if needed. Electrical hookups are 50 amp so have an adapter if you need 30 amp service. I’d certainly recommend it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the rates and fees for staying at H & G RV Park and Campground?

H & G RV Park and Campground offers various rate options depending on the type of site and hookups needed. Full hookup sites with 50/30 amp electric, water, and sewer are available for approximately $40 per night. For campers needing no hookups, there are more economical options around $10 per night. The campground provides good value, especially considering the personal service and quiet, safe location. For the most current pricing and any seasonal specials, it's best to contact the campground directly when making your reservation.

What amenities are available at H & G RV Park and Campground?

H & G RV Park and Campground offers electric hookups (50/30 amp), water connections, and sewer hookups at most sites, with a dump station available for sites without sewer connections. The park features gravel pads that are well-maintained. It's important to note this is an RV/trailer-only facility with no tent camping options as there are no bathroom facilities. While the campground is modest in amenities, it makes up for it with excellent service and a quiet, safe environment. The park is conveniently located near I-40 with a Love's station at the nearby exit.

How do I make reservations at H & G RV Park?

Advance reservations are highly recommended for H & G RV Park due to its small size and limited number of sites. To make a reservation, call the campground directly and speak with Gary, the helpful manager who frequently assists campers personally. The park has only a few sites, including just two pull-through spots, so booking ahead is especially important if you have specific site requirements or are traveling during busy periods. Even for late arrivals, the management is accommodating and will guide you to your spot upon arrival.
