Free and accessed via a narrow, rocky, inclined track off County Road 133, this dispersed site sits along Hogan Creek within the Army Corps of Engineers' Nimrod Recreation Area. The area is small. It fits a single vehicle, with high-clearance 4x4 recommended for the descent; campers can also park at the pull-off near CR133 and walk in. A small rock fire ring is on-site, the surface is rocky in places, and leveling is likely needed for vehicle camping. Numerous trees make hammock camping a workable option. The site is prone to flooding, and anglers have direct creek access. Nearby, Wards Crossing Dispersed, Nimrod Lake Rec Area, AR and CR133/FR146 Hogan Creek Dispersed, Ouachita NF, AR offer comparable free dispersed options for those working through the area.
